We stayed here over the weekend with our young family and my parents.nWe love warrenpoint so much and this house is amazing! Everything you need. Totally gorgeous.
I had the pleasure of visiting this gorgeous house when friends were staying there. It is absolutely fabulous. It was spotlessly clean, great furnishings and a kitchen which was fully equipped. We sat in the back garden which was beautiful to look at and very peaceful. The bedrooms all have completely different colour schemes and furnishings and the bathrooms I would love to have in my own house.

We have just returned from 4 nights in Dolly's wonderful cottage. This Victorian terraced seafront house has it all - stunning seaviews from the sitting room, from a lovely porch complete with armchair begging to be sat in and last but not least from from the master bedroom, a room which spans the full width of the house and from where you can sit, propped up with a few pillows, and imagine, as you look out, that you are sailing on the high seas!nnAttention to detail takes on a new meaning in this high end rental, from the generous welcome basket, the kitchen cupboard full of spices for whatever kind of cooking takes your fancy and a detailed information pack on things to do in this beautiful part of South Down, just a stone's throw from the seaside and the Mourne Mountains; a lovely touch is a black and white photo of Dolly as a young woman, the lady who lived in this house for many years and after whom the current owners named the house.nnNothing has been left to chance in this high end rental; all four bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed, a spacious bathroom on both the 1st floor and the 2nd floor ensures that the chances of family squabbles on who gets the first shower are kept to a minimum!nnThe kitchen, modern and bright has a good oven and the essential dishwasher and double doors lead out to a lovely old walled garden, and down to a pleasingly sagging old stone coachhouse.nnThe owners, Maura and Malachy told me that when they first bought Dolly's cottage, that it did not even have heating and as a result, a major renovation was required which including insulating all walls and laying lovely old oak parquet floors. The result is a warm, comfortable, relaxing space, full of old warm charm without the draughts that we used to associate with old houses in Ireland!nnI cannot recommend Dolly's cottage highly enough.
There is no panic about Dolly's, weather you've booked the right place or is it going to be okay when you arrive!!!nBecause Dolly's Cottage is the most beautiful, cosy, clean, inviting holiday home you could wish for. Everything about Dollys is 5 star!!! Location, gardens, space inside, light airy and nothing dull about it whatsoever. This is the place to go in Northern Ireland for a restful week in the town of Warrenpoint. But you also have fantastic local transport and quick links to Belfast in 50 mins by car. Dolly's will not disappoint. I can't recommend it enough!!! Once you've been, you will be re booking for the next visit!!!
