What a brilliant place! Lovely atmosphere and loads of features from when it was an iron mongers we have family members that had been in it's former life.... Amazing range of homemade cakes. Service was really friendly. Dogs welcome.Food: 5/5
Went twice. It feels like you are in an old fashioned shop but everyone is so friendly including to dogs and the food just excellent. We were a family of 6 adults two children and a dog. Food, coffee and smoothies excellent. Really the best selection of home made cakes and tray bakes I have seen in a long time. Do go!Food: 5/5
Lovely coffee house, we went based on the Google reviews and really glad we stopped in. Staff were very friendly and social. Food was good and the desserts were even better. Lovely the Welsh rarebit jacket potato!Food: 5/5
Very nice cafe. THE BEST IN TOWN!!! staff were wonderful and friendly. They were all happy. Cafe had it's quirks but I like the old style cafés. Food was really good quality. If I'm ever on the area would definitely go again. Cheesecakes are beautiful and tasty.Food: 5/5
Superb superb SUPERB cakes! The Bakewell slice... So almondy, so jammy, so frangipani and gooey icing on top. The scones.... with a hint of vanilla knocking about. The Rocky Road Ffordd Cregiau! - so much chocolate and biscuitty goodness Nice big mugs of tea too.
Quirky coffee shop, Very relaxed and cosy. Only oat or full fat milk available so due to my intolerance I was unable to enjoy a hot drink. Server was a bit rude but other staff were very pleasantFood: 3/5
A unique coffee shop experience. The decor and ambience are very old school.... dark wood apothecary type fixtures and fittings.....reworked to provide a homely, atmospheric cafe. The food is good value....omelettes, sandwiches, all day breakfast etc.....with a huge enticing homemade cake selection. We always eat lunch here when we're in Dolgellau. It's a highlight of our trip just as much as the surrounding mountains!
Quirky setting with a large and varied menu which justifies making repeat visits! The breakfasts are generous with a few portion size options and will satisfy meat-eaters and veggies alike - the veggie sausages are a worth a try, being vegetable-based rather than 'fake meat'. There is a massive range of cakes, with more being baked in-house throughout the day. Coffees are good, and smoothies and milkshakes are a refreshing alternative. The building is unique, and there's plenty to look at while you wait for your order to be prepared. The owners welcome guests taking photos, but ask them to consider donating to the RNLI to support the local Coastguard - a nice touch. Service is friendly and good-humoured, suited to dealing with the mix of tourists, cyclists and locals who can't stay away. Thanks for keeping us fuelled up on our visit to Dolgellau : Vegetarian options: Good veggie options with interesting vegetable-based sausages subbed in.
Great little coffee shop and cafe serving homemade food and delicious cakes. It’s dog friendly which we love. Set in an old pharmacy it has such wonderful character and a unique style. So many things to look at while you’re waiting.
Great coffee shop with the best atmosphere. Lovely staff. Amazing building with plenty of things to look at. Dog friendly. Would definitely visit again!Food: 4/5
