Close for 15mins between sessions but don't clean upstairs in the role play section. I then called and was told it was extremely busy this morning which it wasn't as we got there for 11am they also didn't offer an apology and no one came up to clean it. £17.50 for the room to look like this is disgusting
Great parking, plenty of seating. Role play area is well equipt. Well catered for cafe, if not a bit pricey!!
Great space & plenty of play opportunities. However, I have noticed some surfaces & equipment for example the baby bouncers are sticky & very grimy. Every time we visit my children are always ill. I have now come to realise it is probably because of this play area. They both also have had Scarlett fever which I believe was from attending.
Soft play is fun for kids. Unfortunately dJ's only gets a 2 star due to lack of customer service from their staff at Berkhamsted. Staff told us on arrival you're not allowed in until your timed session 11.30 but were letting parents/kids in the venue for a party. That's just double standards. Also it took ages just to buy a drink from the cafe. Wouldn't return based on bad experience.
Went here on a last minute decision, took my daughter and her friend, ages 9&10. They really enjoyed the few hours here. And at £12 per child it was a very good time spent other than on their devices at home. Enjoyed the role play area, in a gate at the side of the entrance. Go upstairs and it really is a nice place. Was very clean and tidy and lots of space for parents to sit. And spacious for the kids to play as well. Car park outside perfect just a little hidden gem I think parents should take their kids too. Overall very happy there
