This place use to be the ultimate for me. It was a secret gem for the many who knew it. It's still miles better than the vast majority of Turkish restaurants and the lamb ribs are still delicious. But it use to be so much better. U always had to wait to be seated and the food had an extra level of flavour. It's still damn good but has definitely lost just a little in the flavour department. The atmosphere is way more relaxed than it use to be (an unplanned positive development) and the service is fantastic. Had I not known how it use to be, it would've been 5 stars- but I can't help but miss that special something that has been lost. Back then I would never have dreamed of leaving a public review- as I said, it was a secret gem- but a secret for many. And those limited few I did tell, would always thank me.

Loved it! Authentic, homely yet a warm foreign exotic vibe. Friendly staff, yummy grills, highly recommend the rice pudding! 
Got a platter for two and we ended up stuffing ourselves plus taking another full dinner home as take away!
Good price for the food we got, both in quality and quantity- 4 stars.

Best place to eat... the ribs and lamb chops are to die for. I would give this place ten stars if i could!

Well regarded, top quality and generous portions. It was our favourite take away for a number of years but has adequate seating and a refreshed looking interior. I imagine it would be difficult to find any bad turkish food in local restaurants here and this simply happens to be a favourite.

Nice turkish or
Kurdish place depending on political stance . But food was good. Nice staff. Clean toilets .. fresh bread. Good meats and rice. I  go here often as I know what I'm getting and it's always consistent ...
