What a tight tight place with their portions but feel the need to price it like they are serving you 2 plates. Stingy portion of chips!! It’s sad this place used to be good.
Best chicken I’ve eaten, great price
Got a value meal from here and everything was excellent. Staff are very pleasant and well organised. Cannot fault the price either. Will return here again without hesitation.
Pros: Good value for money Staff are nice Chips were great Wings nice and crunchy Chicken juicy Edit: Writing this edit a few months down the line - Honestly may be the best chicken in Hull. Always to a set standard, fresh, and delicious. Friendly and Great prices too. Please try this at least once. You'll be blown away!!!
I'm not normally a fan of this kind of shop but I called in one day a few weeks back and ordered a chicken kebab. This turned out different to how I normally find them on my extensive travels. It was basically a fried chicken breast in breadcrumbs that was chopped up and served in a pitta bread with salad. It was served with sliced Jalapeno peppers too which was a bonus. I asked for it to be heavily slathered in extra hot chilli sauce and I got my request I'm a bit of a chilli head Since that day I've made a point of calling when I'm in Hull. I'd recommend the place to anybody.
Worth the wait! As they do most orders from scratch meaning fresh which makes a significant difference if you're blessed with taste buds! BEST CHICKEN IN HULL, on par with Nando's.... yep I said it!
KFC should send their kitchen staff here and learn how to cook Fried Chicken without Cremating it...! This is a great little fried chicken shop that's been trading for over 2 decades!!! Wot does that tell yer..

Been going here since i moved to Hull as a child. Best chicken ever, honestly won’t get it anywhere else. Loved coming home from uni to have Yankee.
The food is amazing as I am a regular and it never disappoints me, BUT, for the past two times I have walked in on a Monday at 10 o’clock at night and I got told that half of the machines were turners off! However, you don’t close till 11 at night on Monday, so therefore the full menu should be available till 11 o’clock at night! Like you have promised on your opening times!
