Waiting staff were friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and the chef added some heat to my dish on request. The portion size was not as big as other Caribbean places I have been, but still big enough for most people. We went on a Friday night and the prices were reasonable, about £15 for a couple of Carib beers and a main course. Fried plantain was a delight. Can recommend.
We visited here the other day. The service and Richard are very good and you do feel welcome. However and I hate to do this the food is not up to the standards they started out at. Here's why , the patties were not hot fresh and crisp as they should be. They were not piping hot they tasted microwaved. The pastry was limp. These tasted like pre packed warm ups. The ribs delicious but Served lukewarm The rice and peas were cold lacked flavor and were not fresh made. Why I say this they were dry no spice and no moisture I would suggest these were made and left and reheated without steam. The chicken fried Caribbean food has spice and strong flavour this chicken has been grossly toned down to not have any spice at all. I appreciate you have to cater for many tastes. However the whole identity of your restaurant is Caribbean. So put some spice in and put back some strong flavour. I am not being critical for the sake of it I feel that the food needs to be brought back to its identity. Loose the microwave. Because people can tell.

Food was excellent, good atmosphere, pleasant staff will defiantly eat here again.
I came here this evening first time ever and mum had bbq rib starter followed by Jerk chicken and I had mango mushrooms followed by curried goat. Absolutely loved the food and definitely will be eating here Again
Been twice, first time was excellent but second time the food was bland and nothing special. Inconsistent service although friendly. Went on recommendation but not sure I would go again as overall disappointing.
What an amazing evening! Lovely place, amazing food, great staff, fab cocktails!! Well worth a visit. Also greAt music! Will definitely visit again xx
