My first visit to this place but I'll definitely go back. I do slate roof repairs and it can take ages to find reclaimed slates on Gumtree & Marketplace  if you are looking for a particular type. A customer Mabruk, from Bishopbriggs told me about the place and the fact that the guy on phone remembered him from years before. They have a big selection of used slates and I got what I wanted for a good price. Also found some ridge tiles that I've been trying to find for a good couple of years. Only criticism is that I didn't really know if you can just look round till you find what you need or you need to get the staff to find them for you and the guy in office told me to go and look for a certain guy at the other end of yard but I couldn't see anyone. I then found loads of guys working away in the shed and they sorted me out but they looked kinda busy to be getting interrupted

Great prices, knowledgeable sales service. Delivery Vehicle followed me home to deliver to garden gate. A very pleasant positive experience out of my comfort zone. Will definitely return.

Had to get discontinued roof tiles.nHad called a few tile suppliers with no joy. Called Direct Slating and no problem. Would definitely recommend

I pick up pallets from direct slating and I'm usually only 5---10 mins getting loaded the guy's are quick and careful loading you there are also very friendly.
