A Museum with its fossilised heart in the right place. My party went with an hour until closing time, and we were the only ones there the entire time. Great for kids and families. It's a bit rough around the edges, namely it could do with a good clean. Lovely guy on reception.
One of the best museums I’ve ever visited! The mix of scientific knowledge and off the cuff remarks on the labels made it an unforgettable experience. Chris’s knowledge, passion and wonderful personality shone through the huge variety of collections on display, not to be missed.
Small but a wonderful museum that is hidden away on a quiet street. It's a privately owned and run place and Chris absolutely out his passion in to this place. There are countless of dinosaur and sealife fossils from both UK and abroad, there is a room with loads dinosaur scenes upstairs, there are many other creatures such as butterfly, dear, bear and a pair of Chinese dinosaurs, perhaps the only pair that is outside of China. Well worth a visit, but you will need to prepare to read a lot of descriptions inside to value this place.
DOG FRIENDLY .nThis place was dog friendly and was full of lots of stones fossils and bones . It was cheap and cheerful and nice activity to do whilst we stopped here for a lunch break on a long journey .nnI will say it is a small place and is a little overwhelming with the sheer amount of stuff in the rooms it makes it so you don’t really know what you’re looking at . It has an overwhelming smell of stale air and damp .nFor the money we paid to go around reflected in the experience of course it wasn’t wham bam Shazam but was worth the money paid .
Lovely little fossil museum.on the jurassic coast. 28.00 for a family of 3 adults and 1 child. Lots of Dino statutes. And a lovely Dino collection at the end. A must if dinosaurs are your thing.
