3 pages of Irish whiskeys. That’s the menu. And even if you want to go with the cheapest, we will still have plenty of choice. Staff is really great, you’ll feel the love they have for whiskey.
Love it. Poor chap was just about to open and us two turned up trying to pull the door off the hinges. Chap was cool, happy to talk about the whiskeys and recommend. Had a few different and they were excellent. Some tourists came in and he did a tasting with them and was excellent. Gave them a good selection of various styles of whiskey and explained all about them in an easy to understand! Well done man!!
As people who don’t know anything about whiskey, We came in here for a few drinks. The bartender Eoin shared so much of his knowledge, and we tried a few of the amazing whiskeys and found what we liked. We loved our experience and will definitely be here again! I would recommend coming here if you want to find the whiskey you like or just want a great experience! Will definitely be back
I was there for a dunvilles whiskey tasting as such which was excellent...the bar staff were friendly and helpful and the bar itself was well stocked and in good order... toilets clean and functional... decor was interesting..I will be back next time I am in the city centre
It's changed names so called distilled now. Amazing selection of whiskey with expert and highly knowledgeable. Bar staff. I just wish the menu would have tasting notes or a description. As for an extensive menu it's hard to make a choice on any unfamiliar brands.
Very competent staff, I live abroad now, but when I return to visit home and my friends, this is usually our place to go for a dram or 2, the staff are very friendly and helpful in the selection of our next drink. They have a great selection which helps me pick my next favourite.
Go there for the 7PM tasting and story of whiskeys! For 20 Euro he'll walk you through the tasting of 5 different types of whiskey, how they are made, and how to enjoy them. I've enjoyed peaty highland scotch before, but I really know what I like now, and can tell you why!
One of the better whiskey bars in Ireland in terms of selections. It can naturally get overwhelmingly full because of that. Staff are knowledgeable and fairly helpful when they have the time.
A must visit whether you are a whiskey amatuer or seasoned drinker. There are whiskey types here from all over the world to suit every taste and fancy. Some of the more expensive top shelf varieties are quite reasonable here in comparison to other local establishments.
What a wonderful whiskey bar! The menu had great annotations explaining all the different types of whiskey and the Old Fashioned was delicious with a touch of honey. Next time I’m in town I’ll definitely make sure to come again!
