Good value comfortable basic hotel, very well located and close to the sea. Room was a good size and clean enough for me. Very good buffet breakfast - I paid for the breakfast but no one checked my receipt so would chance not paying if I returned.nnI arrived late and the hotel parking was full but free overnight parking is available just outside and down the road, free all day parking is available on nearby side streets
Perfect location and was the cheapest option for us. Has everything what needed, but everything is very old and used. We had quite big gap under our room door, so needed to cover it up just for the safety. We could hear everything whats happening in the corridor. To use lift was quite scary experience as it was wobbly. Overall this is great hotel if you need room just for night sleep as it is in great location and cheap. P.S. parking on street in front of the hotel is free from 6pm to 10am - park here and avoid climbing to those huge hills ;
Hotel in the process of decoration / modernisation. Our room was great, with a front facing bay window view. Lots of space, clean and very comfortable. Refurbished communal areas. Service and staff were excellent, as was the food. Top notch, home made and beautifully presented. Great location on the main road to the pretty harbour, just 10 minutes walk away. We would stay there again.
You get what you pay for - and this was very cheap hotel! Peeling paint, worn carpets, wallpaper coming off the wall, no fan in heatwave so the room.was an oven, hard bed.... However, the staff were friendly and the location was good, close to Jubilee gardens, SWCP, town and harbour. I expect if you're retired going for a fun time with a group, its probably OK. And as I say, it was cheap, so that's why it gets 3 stars and not one!
Well , let's start with a carparkn8 spaces but every time you want to leave or you coming back,you need to undo the padlock with heavy chain.Very not convenient.nThe hotel is quite old and need good renovation.nOur room was basic as we wanted to stay only for a day or two but ... Dust everywhere and it was visible as day is light.nBath curtain and bath matt mouldy.nOn the top of our experience the window was pointing on the beautiful park where homeless people had a campsite and party every single night...free entertainment I will say
