My new home, after moving up from the South. Friendly, helpful people is what I've encountered so far. There are some lovely bars and restaurants, as well all the expected amenities that one could need.
I love Didsbury. A small village with lots of little shops and places to eat. Easy to park and easy to cross to and from each side of the street.
Lots of thriving shops. Artisan bread, cheese, charity shops. Plenty of eateries to suit every taste. Even got an Aldi.
Really nice village with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. Parking is available via side streets or the main car park at the edge of the village.
I've been calling in here for about 30 plus years now to use the bank and doing a bit of shopping and just wandering around the shops as there are plenty of them. There's also quite a few nice pubs and restaurants. It's really easy to travel in and out of it as there is a few metrolink stops and lots of busses go through it, night busses into Piccadilly as well. Over time a lot of the businesses have changed but the centre is still the same and is just as well used for kids, families and students as it always was.
Plenty of good bars, pubs and eating places.
This used to be a place that was good to grow up in, where working class or lower middle class youths could feel at home, and where their families could have a future. Now you have to be an immigrant from the Home Counties and drive at least a Mercedes if not a Porsche 4x4 to fit in.
Driving thru the area there seems to be lots of places to sit out and have a few beers or a meal. Nice and clean too worth a visitLocation: 5/5
