I went here for the queen's platinum jubilee festival, as it looked like a nice, fun event from the outside. It was nice to see the local groups performing all sorts of acts. The problem is, if you don't already know lots of other people there, or have kids, people don't really want to talk to you.nIt's very much a family -oriented community, which can be a bit isolating for the not insubstantial number of young, non-family workers who live here.

This is the town hall. It's unique circular design is good for celebration parties.

Wonderful space, friendly, approachable and lovely staff both on reception and at the bar. Management are always receptive to changes, overall a great place.

I have been here once before for a music event which was  very low populated but also very enjoyable and I have been here twice now for covid jabs, which are obviously 2 very different experiences.... To say the least it has always been a clean place and the people have always been polite and helpful. When the world returns to a normal state hopefully events come back and we can all enjoy them again!

Very nice and welcoming hall.
