Dickens House, is an independent family run Wine Emporium, proud to offer not only every day drinking wine, but also an unrivalled selection of specialist wines and spirits and if we haven’t got what you want, we will see if we can order it for you!

This wonderful emporium offers a selection of the best fine wines and spirits from around the world, all for sale both online and from our listed Georgian retail/wholesale store.

As our name suggests, Dickens House, was often frequented by Charles Dickens during the time that the Wine Store and Cellars. as they now are, were a pharmacy and chemist; thereafter his name became synonymous with this building.

Very nice little shop for all your needs alcohol or smoke related.  Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend this shop.

A great place for wine or cigars (or some other niceties, like whiskey), but it's the cigars I go for. All the staff seem very friendly, and very reasonably priced cigars. The man who operates the cigar side is very knowledgeable and made some good recommendations. Now visited twice in two weeks and I'm sure I'll keep visiting.

Great place for wine and cigars with a few extras too, friendly and polite staff however cigars are a bit pricey in comparison to other places.

Fantastic little gem on the high Street. Very helpfull and friendly staff. A good selection of wines and spirits and a great selection of cigars (both new world and havana) downstairs.
