Great food at great price. The carvery is a regular for us. Great space to sit and enjoy a meal with attentive hosts and hostesses.
Popped in about 5 for dinner with my parents. Really quiet at that time. Food was good. Service was quick. Server very pleasant. * regarding how you could get 5*'s. I should have mentioned, we asked for the smaller fish, but unfortunately, it wasn't available. The server had to go to the kitchen and ask for a missing item. I will say, and maybe the extra * should be added for this, my mum, who has a smaller appetite, thoroughly enjoyed half of the fish she had she needed the smaller fish. She left the fries as a result. Also, loved the curry sauce extra to dip her fish in. I hope this helps who ever replied to my comment. Thanks. We will be back.
Went with family, staff was very accommodating and welcoming, kids loved fact staff spoke to and involved them in experience and food was amazing
I have been many times and experienced lots of good times and a few bad times. Last went a few days ago, and the service was good. However, the cleaning and hygiene standards seemed to be way off its game. Maybe it wasn't the regular cleaner, or perhaps they were just not on their game that day, but I personally like to know the place I am eating out is clean, you know?
Just want to say I had a lovely experience on my visit, the food was amazing I would like to say a lady named Jessica went out of her way to make us feel welcome! we will definitely be coming back again soon thank you again Jessica for a wonderful experience Xxx
Have been before and food is always good BUT today they had run out of carvery and ONLY LOOKED like 1 staff on shift trying to do everything feel very sorry for this young lady so we sat down and waited, 30 mins later she still had not come to take order So we left and went elsewhere So I'm a bit disappointed with yesterday's visit But will still go back as its usually very good
Book table for 5.30 had to wait for 30 minutes for them to bring out new potatoes and veg then another 25 mins for new Yorkshire puddings the turkey was very dry very poor service will not be going back ther anymore need to get staff that no's want they are doing
Was waiting for over five minutes to explain that I had booked a table only to be shown into the pub and not the restaurant as all the tables were fully booked, tried to explain I had booked a table but the service was even more disgusting than the food. This place needs shutting down.
Amazing carvery and staff
Good food and reasonably priced, very busy being a Sunday. The Carvery food looked great, I'll have to try that next time I visit
