Visited The Dick Institute for the first time in many years. As you enter, the Library is to the left and the right of the hallway. The right hand side has a small cafe inside with only a few tables. I had a very nice Cappuccino and cake for £5 before exploring the rest of the Institute.nThere are renovations going on atm, with the Art Gallery and right hand side of the upper floor closed. I still managed to spend 2hrs there.nA very beautiful building inside with dark mahogany wood work throughout.nThere is plenty of on street parking available nearby. Definitely worth visiting, highly recommend.
Nice library and museum at the Dick Institue. With An impressive historic building with plenty of character. The architecture is striking and well maintained, making it a standout landmark in the area. It’s a worthwhile place to visit if you’re exploring Kilmarnock

Loved our visit. John was an excellent guide. Really helpful and explained lots of exhibits- Clare in cafe was great too. Definitely worth a visit.
Amazing building in Kilmarnock with two museums inside, library, art gallery and a café. Good exhibitions about Robert Burns and Johnnie Walker, plus lots of historical artefacts. Beautiful and interesting. Free entry!
