Update: following this review an engineer came out and agreed the hole was indeed a fault and not us misusing the drive by parking on it see below. Multiple faults were actually identified, as there were areas close by with cracking that we hadn't noticed. The engineer, not promising anything, assured us he would feed back to the main office.... Then 'radio silence' again, once he left. We've since chased and it seems the engineers view this is a fault has been retracted by management who didn't come out to view it and we are once again back to us, the customer, being at fault for parking on the drive. They've begrudgingly agreed to patch the 'fault' as a goodwill gesture ? but only IF we remove this review, assuring us though that the patch will be a different colour no mention of the other issues identified by their engineer. As painful as it is financially, I think we'll get the drive done properly at some point by a reputable firm. I'd strongly recommend you avoid. Original: Look beyond their fancy corporate photographs of impeccably laid, pristine drives and see what their product looks like after a few years. Apparently, in their professional opinion, this 8 inch complete loss of resin, was caused by "impact repeatedly to the same spot", yup - we park the car on the drive every night - it's a drive after all. Their after-sales care is non existent, ignoring repeated emails after they halfheartedly agreed to come and patch over the fault - we now have complete radio silence. Avoid and buy a drive that you can "drive" on.
I called Diamond services to provide a quote and Jonathon came round and priced up the job. When the contractor arrived he told me it was too cheap and the only way he could do it at that price was to do it privately. I obviously wasn’t happy with this so had to speak with head office to get the work done at the agreed price. Initially I was happy with the finished patio but a few weeks after it was finished the pointing between the slabs started coming away. I’ve tried to resolve this several times with Diamond but they are now not returning my calls and ignoring messages so I’m going to have to pay someone to fix it privately. Their after care is non-existent so on that basis I wouldn’t recommend. Hopefully I only have this minor problem because I doubt I’ll be able to use the guarantee that was provided.
What can I say! Steve is such a kind human. He came to quote me on a new driveway and I can see us working well together. He even gave me a yummy cake! Paving and patisserie.. what a great combo! Cheers
We had our driveway done in July 2019 but there were issues with it and although we had paid in full, Jonathan and Steven would not rest until we were happy, and did so with a good attitude. The team returned on numerous occasions but as we were still unhappy, Jonathan assigned a new team, headed up by Simon, and they jointly opted to carry out a more substantial rework of the driveway, following which, we were extremely pleased with final result. We can definitely recommend Diamond driveways as they are an honest firm with fantastic customer service we did not have to chase them at all.
Steven came along last year I happen to come across Diamond Services via the search engine...... Let's just say I'm so glad I did! The work was completed 25th February 2017. This included my garden fence and front driveway. Only took a couple of days to finish once started. The team are so lovely they literally worked the entire time and cleaned up after themselves as they went along. I wasn't even here when the front driveway was completed. It looks just perfect. I was given reassurance throughout. They are a respectable bunch of guys and I could just leave them to it. They are highly recommended and I plan to use them in my next property.
