Terrible service. I used the 149 both ways today. First journey the bus was parked half an hour before departure time. But when it was departure time, the driver wasn’t there. 20 minutes after departure time, he finally arrived carrying snacks from the shop, probably explaining where he had been. The bus 2020 plate might I add we were on had some non functioning charging ports, a broken stopping light and it was violently unstable. You got thrown around in your seat all over the place as it drives to the point you feel unsafe being onboard. Second journey back to Worcester, the driver was camping in the bus for 10 minutes before finally letting everyone on, only to stop at Worcestershire County Hall to sit in a passenger seat on his phone for 10 minutes. I’m sorry but why are these drivers being paid to drive the buses if they can’t be bothered to do their job half the time? Ridiculous.
Absolute shambles. As a student I found this service unacceptable. Buses always being late picking me up and when a route had to be changed e.g Bidford Bridge i would get in nearly an hour after they predicted. Paying over £150 for this service and didn't get me in on time! As for drivers I found not many spoke basic English but the 2/3 I had two bauld headed chaps and older English gentleman were fantastic. Also the bus broke down several times with one of the Indian drivers telling me "this is the most reliable bus the company has". I really wouldn't trust this company to get me anywhere thankfully I finished at that school. One time one of the drivers played loud Indian music throughout the journey.
Absolute joke, I pay £100 a month and the buses are never on time. Left in poor condition and drive dangerously. I don't have any other option than to use the buses every month as I don't drive. But it's not worth the £100 a month I have to pay
Regular user of the 150 service to Kings Heath. It’s only every 2 hours, but generally it’s on time and the drivers are friendly and polite.
I,m not from Redditch but visit frequently the no 11 bus service is the worst service I have ever come across ,whoever is organising this service needs to be replaced it's awful, waiting 55min for a bus is no joke it's a cold and scruffy bus station and the staff are rude and unhelpful, no bus service into Birmingham Town centre I could go on and on but I carnt be bothered just like Diamond bus service they have no respect for their passengers and obviously carnt be bothered .
Grubby, and stained buses, an intermittent schedule and non-english-speaking drivers makes this tricky to rate higher. I don't really care where the drivers are from, but if they can't answer simple questions like "How much is a single?", then there isn't much hope. The buses are in a tired state. Even though they may be sterile, they are stained something rotten. They struggle to get up hills and in the summer months, they are often spotted smoking on the side of the road. They don't have a bad reputation for nothing. Someone needs to remember that the 14.40 bus should leave at 14.40, not 14.45, when the driver has had a sandwich and a cup of tea. However, saltiness aside. There are some wonderful drivers that redeem this company. There is at least one inspector that does his job really well, and more than a few drivers that actually care about their passengers. As a company they have been pretty well recently, but they need to keep it up. They gradually lose their momentum and fall back to their old unscheduled ways.
Busses in disrepair. Rude drivers. And sometimes waiting over an hour for a bus when there is supposed to be several an hour. Abaoloutly appalling service that I'm forced to use as it's the only public transport option besides Uber or taxis. All this and I still have to pay £40 for a monthly ticket. Would not recommend their services to any person or public body. If you have a bike or rent an electric scooter use that instead at least then you'll be on time for work.
Visited my daughter and found the 150 service changed to diamond buses. It no longer goes to churchill so I had to pay for another ticket to get there. On way back 3 57's came up on the board due but never turned up. Finally on reaching town the display board said to catch the 150 at stand G. The bus came in at stand C, emptied and then came around to G but because there was a bus abandoned there he drove straight past me. I am now waiting half an hour for a train, which I will have to pay for and catch 2 buses when I reach Birmingham. Wont be using 150 again.
Well what can I say. Excellent us company and service. If I rate them a 5 they will get to confident haha. I had a problem with a ticket that needed sorting out and the inspector and manager helped me brilliantly. So friendly and polite. I love the fact the fairs are so cheap. 1.90 for a single on local redditch services and £3.10 day rider on any diamond bus. So good. And I think the bus drivers do their best in such a hard job. Trying to keep to a schedule would I expect be hard work so keep up the good.work redditch.
I had a mood untill I had to wait 30-35 min for the buss, and still! no buss.I decided to just go home because I was cold, and unmotivated to do anything at this point. Theu really should have time tables and actually manage to follow them because this is a joke, I been late from work and college multiple tmes even thought I was at the bust stop 30-40 minutes before I jad to get there and fron my buss stop town center is only 5 minutes away.
