The menu at Di Giorgio is indeed diverse, with a range of dishes covering typical brunch options, pasta, and other comforting meals. However, one dish that stands out in particular is their French toast. This is, without a doubt, the best French toast I have ever tasted! It's fluffy, delicious, and cooked to perfection, making it a must-try for anyone who visits. Do note that the portions are not for the faint-hearted. You definitely get your money's worth, as they are incredibly generous and filling. Moreover, the staff at Di Giorgio are incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall experience. They go out of their way to ensure that you have everything you need and are always happy to offer recommendations if you're unsure about what to order.
A real gem in Edinburgh city, perhaps the best looking cafe I’ve ever seen in the UK, so cozy and welcoming… My partner and I were so impressed by the impeccable service, the lovely and authentic Italian food with great portions at an accessible price, and the fact that we were able to dine inside with our dog! Thank you so much, we’ll be back next time we visit Edinburgh
Lovely Italian cafe to have a brunch, coffe and cake or lunch. Prices are reasonable, staff are lovely, food is just great. Eggs Benedict done to perfection, excellent ingredients, great ambience. There is a variety of Italian ice creams just at the entrance. The tiramisu looks gorgeous. Good variety of cakes too. Very recommended place!
Really charming and beautiful place! It's a tiny place but with amazing plates! The pasta is delicious, the breakfast is massive, the desserts are nice and the service is fantastic! We were served by the owner, she is really kind and friendly! We'll definitely come back!
We enjoyed two brunch/ lunch meals in this wonderful restaurant. Excellent quality food, ambiance, friendly staff and divine coffee. Vegetarian options: Delicious!
Friendly staff, nice ambience, and quality food. Table was a bit wobbly and door open which meant the cafe was cold. No stipulated Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice breakfast, and there is 3 hour parking at nearby Tesco's if your doing a shop too.
Our favourite cafe in Edinburgh. The food is lovely and the staff are so friendly - to us and dog! Delicious breakfasts, great pasta and moreish cakes. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Went in here with a friend for lunch. They were very welcoming and so helpful - managed to find us a table even though we had no booking and was quite busy. The service was fantastic!! Loved the coffee art and the food was delicious and great value for money . Recommend the fruit smoothies as well - not a common find in Edinburgh. Definitely a hidden gem and will be back!!
Amazing service! Great portions, delicious and fresh! Lovely inside with a huge window! Waiter & waitress super polite and helpful! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian breakfast omelets, pancakes, waffles etc Kid-friendliness: Kids half English breakfast
Beautiful place. Two females working this day. I got in towards closing time without even acknowledging they where about to close. I apologise and asked to take away. The woman was very kind telling me take a sit and do enjoy don't worry about time. I felt welcome, the ambient was peaceful. The Tiramissu was the best I've had since Canada which was 10 years ago. The muffins my partner loved it too. So for sure do visit this place and if you're near by do pop in, you won't regret it. They also serve food which I shall try on my next visit.
