Best DHL depot I've seen. Brand new and very well organised. Plenty of parking for popping in and out, they even have electric car charging points. Staff at the reception are extremely helpful. Recommended.
I booked a collection from DHL Express and the driver did not collect that day. As it was a high value item i went to this depot after work, arriving at 6.50. The depot closes at 7 but when I rang the bell I was told that they only accept drop offs before 6.30 even though the DHL Express website doesn’t mention this.nI explained that I had only made the journey as the driver had not collected and now that I was there could they take the parcel even though it wouldn’t leave their depot until the next day. I showed the lady at the desk proof that a collection had indeed been booked as I had e-mail confirmation.nUpon seeing this she said ‘give me a minute’ and went in to the office. I then waited another 10 minutes before ringing the bell again at which point they were laughing in the office. I waited another 5 minutes and then left the depot at around 7.15 as they clearly had no intention of coming back out.nI don’t even mind that they didn’t take the parcel but it’s just human decency to come out and say that after you have checked. Appalling customer service. Through my business we have dealt with all of the big operators over the years and this is my single worst experience.
One of the worst service i experienced not professional and very bad on update.nUseless staff with attitude and he even told about my attitude when I told him to pack my goods back the same way as I packed because he just completely ruined.nDo not use this depot but better to stay away from DHL as they have no idea about business nI tell my business partner also do not use them as they make it very difficult to send a parcel and ruin it as well.nNever again dhl and definitely not this Basildon depot with this guy‍nI had nothing but problem here but I make sure last time I been here.nNot poor service no service at all.nUnprofessional unreliable unacceptable.
Excellent customer service, very helpful staff.
The lady was very helpful but unfortunately they didn't take my type of parcel at this depot. She kindly gave me the address of the local one that did. Its a bit confusing to say the least but the staff were lovely. Parking out front of reception
