Very helpful sales associate. I was left alone to browse, and after having viewed different sofas in different DFS stores found “the one” at the Oldham store. Didn’t feel pressured to buy there and then, I went home after my first visit to think and returned the next day. The sales associate had remembered everything I’d mentioned the day previous and the process was very quick and easy. Will definitely return in the future!
The staff here are no longer pushy and I enjoyed looking around. I did ask one of the staff to sit on one of the settees and cuddle up so we could pretend we were watching Homes Under the Hammer but due to social distancing measures we couldn’t. That’s understandable.
Ian was extremely helpful and we are thrilled to bits. Thankyou. Also Jamie White and David Kelly had to carry our suites a long way because of major gas/works. The three of them are a breath of fresh air in customer service skills. Would recommend to anyone.
I will never buy from DFS again. Bed arrived after 3 months flat pack self assembly and marked made in China. I could have bought similar on EBay for £250 less and had it delivered in 3 days. Dont get me started on the suite
Our suite which was was ordered from DFS Oldham 3.5 weeks ago on a 12 week delivery, I rang the store this morning asking to order the battery packs for the 2 recliner chairs only to be to told the order cannot be changed, I said to the assistant that is 8.5 weeks away from delivery and that we haven’t enough wall plugs available for the cables, we are paying almost £6000.00 for the suite, we were never told about the battery packs at point of sale, the suite can only be in its infancy of production, very disappointed with the associate I spoke to. Not very good customer service
Poor quality product Poor service Poor after care It was very difficult to speak with customer services and was eventually promised a call from The Elk Mill store Oldham which still has not happened. Black leather electric reclining 3 seater sofa purchased, the frame has broken and the left switch has broken twice now and this time they have left us without a functioning sofa for over 6 months. Steer well away from this cowboy outfit and for those who need credit for their large purchase. Do extensive research before purchasing.
Would rate 0 star if I could. Ordered sofa in September. Was given a delivery date for 22nd November. Was then told it wasn’t actually arriving until the 26th. Waited in all day for nobody to show up. I phoned DFS to be put through to a call centre in Scotland and was told my furniture was lost. I had to have 2 days off work for my sofa to not show up. I then went into the store myself and spoke to a manager who told me that I would get a phone call on Monday morning to book a delivery slot. A man phoned me on Monday and told me that my sofa would 100% be coming today 30th Nov so I have called this morning and a lady blatantly lied to me on the phone and said that she spoke to the delivery driver put me on mute and pretended to phone them and they are on there way. I phoned back this afternoon for a man to tell me that the sofa is still in the warehouse. Another day I haven’t been able to work. I have 3 month old baby with no where to sit as my living room has been cleared out ready for my new sofa. I am disgusted and feel as if I don’t even want the furniture anymore. Horrible scamming company that tell you nothing but lies. AVOID
Absolutely shocking service. They delivered a broken dirty sofa, and the managers won't even call you back, never again will I buy from this company. Just wish I could give no stars.
Assalamalaikum I've been a customer here for more than 25 years and today came here again because I needed some new sofas BUT Today I was quite disappointed with all the staff. It was empty from inside, there was no staff and we were in there for 15 to 20 minutes looking around and there was not one single staff there to approach us, they all must have been in staff room and looking from there and not come out to assist us DFS change your staff before they give you a bad name, it's not your fault, it's your staff I came around 7pm Very bad Very disappointing
many options and prices we bought sofa last week they're will tack time to delivery it long than before but we agreed with coarna virus anything will take time to finish all best to all stuff
