Extremely poor customer service. Incorrect measurements given by salesman leading to partial refund which took continuous chasing from us. Never phoned us at all with any information as to why refund was still not received. No common courtesy or apology whatsoever that it took over 3 months for the refund for something that was their fault. Also there’s a mark on one seat upon delivery which they were supposed to send someone to remove or replace but again not a word from them. We will never buy from DFS ever again or from their Sofology either.
Lots of, for me, uncomfortable suites but they did have a couple of acceptable ones. Very competitive prices.
Ordered a sofa in England Rotherham to be dilivered to Spain as have DFS in Spain no problems.placed my order .got a text estimated delivery 14/6/22 .payed remaining balance.now on 29th July .still no sofa .was promised a call back in 72 hrs .still waiting.now waiting for head office to call me .
Just purchased a sofa and two chairs from DFS Parkgate branch. Vast range to choose from, we were not hassled by the sales team, but they were readily available when needed. The salesman that attended to us was Colin, he was brilliant.

I recieved my sofa in August, it arrived damaged not just a little scuff the fabric was ripped on the back on full view the sofa was over £3000 we payed £250 cover for 5years still after nearly 6 months we're still waiting for repairs. We was cancelled twice for delivery leaving my family with no where to sit for 2 weeks.
I bought a joules chaise and matching snuggle chair and a velvet armchair and pouffe in June, the delivery was put off til September, I was so excited to get it, on delivery they informed me the snuggle had been put on the van without its feet, but they would send them on later! Fair enough I thought!! 5 months on i had to go into our local DFS to demand feet, and wasn't leaving without any!! I would even take the showroom snuggle chairs feet! But in the end they had had some delivered and I could take them...its appalling waiting 5 months for 4 feet!! Where were my original feet, that were not on the van? Having to ring and email alot I have had my feet fitted today, along with the sagging of the main sofa mended...what a total let down by DFS...no compensation no reasonable apology. You have lost my custem, after using you for every sofa in the past, I can say no more....thanks
Thank you Neil and all the staff that helped me above and beyond. Absolutely top class service. Had an issue with my single seater electrics part of a set I purchased over four years ago and, as a result from a call from Neil is now sorted. Every member of staff that I delt with was positive and extremely helpful. It's not just the the product that one might purchase, it is the after sales service that truly counts. I would be more than happy to recommend DFS to all.
Avoid! More than happy to take your money but when it comes to delivering what they promise they're miles away! Ordered and was promised delivery to another store so we could pick it up in a van, hired a van and then they couldn't find the item, turns out it was still at Rotherham branch... they then tried charge us full delivery when it was their error. Had to hire another van in the end after multiple calls from them telling me I needed to pay them delivery, pick it up or they'd cancel it. Basically no apology and no sympathy. I'd seriously have a think if you're considering buying from this branch!!!
To keep it short - we visited store today and store manager Neil thinks that's how leather sofa should look like. According to him it's not manufacturing defect and it's normal. There is no single leather sofa in all local show rooms which is made exactly from the same leather in the same colour which would look so bad. They all are perfect while ours look like in photos in few large areas. We had other damages but they are just damages in transit, while that is definitely manufacturing defect and his OPINION is different. Well, pictures speak of themselves and it's a FACT and we are not interested in opinion of somone who did not spend £2000 on my sofa. Interesting thing - DFS in Sheffield, where we ordered it, acknowledged that it's manufacturing defect as it looks like some kind of debris is trapped under 'paint'. The problem is that store in Rotherham, where we even did not even purchase it, has to deal with all complaints. We were told that we can replace it but if it looks like that again anywhere on sofa we won't be able to return or replace it again. NO, DFS that's not the ultimatum you give customers when it's fault on your side!
