Delivery guys hammered the headrests on the sofas when building them and gouged bits out my brand new floor. After telling me to go make a coffee rather than watching them took it in good humour but felt too awkward to go back and watch them after that. Not massive scratches but the gouges r deep enough that water will get in if I were to mop the floor and they are exactly the triangle shape of the furniture legs and in front of where each sofa was left. Sent email a couple days after the delivery when realised the floor was damaged with pics we were away directly after delivery and door to room was shut and no other furniture brought into it which I told them and received nothing for 2 weeks. I called and they supposedly emailed me after this no email received from them but everyone else’s emails are coming through fine to say that they had asked the delivery drivers if they’d damaged the floor and they said no what did they think the drivers would say - yes?, there’s pictures of the damage and I certainly didn’t do it. But this and the fact there was a couple days delay in me realising means they didn’t in fact damage my floor in about 6 places. Absolutely gutted. Sofa was over £5K and a massive purchase for me. What was meant to be a really important and satisfactory purchase has actually been a horrible and upsetting experience. Would absolutely not recommend. Big company making big money and not caring at all about the customer afterwards :/

The store is well laid out and very bright and clean with plenty of choices to choose from in suites, beds and furniture. All different colours shapes and sizes and the prices are all reasonable. You have different methods on how to pay but the staff will guide you on this by providing different options. The staff were not pushy and did not follow you about looking for a sale. Jamie the sales staff was very helpful with my daughter and provided all the details like pricing, instalment plans etc. Delivery is very quick if the suite is in stock. About 2 weeks. All in all very satisfied with our visit and will continue to buy suites from DFS.
Big, well stocked showroom and adequate car parking. Helpful and very knowledgeable staff. Never rushed or pushed into a sale, so a very good shopping experience. New sofas and furniture bought on order for my new house. Dates were arranged for later for delivery once I received my keys to new build. Flawless from start to finish. Highly recommended.
Bought a couch from them 2 years ago... it was never right from the start. The mechanisms for the recliner only lasted 6 months and has been replaced multiple times. However, most of their engineers that came out didn't turn up on time and like to spout nonsense about what was actually wrong with the couch. Ive now been waiting 3 months for a repair, they refuse to offer the mechniasms after the warranty and the guys that were meant to pick up the sofa didnt bother to turn up, didn't respond to any texts and didn't bother to let me know they weren't coming. I was phoned 2h into the 3h window and was told they would be here in 15mins. That was over two hours ago. Lack of common decency. I have take 7 days off work, over two years, to deal with their nonsense... and the couch is still broken. Completely ruined my weekend.
I bought a bed and when it came home, one of its legs was broken. I went to the store, we sent an e-mail, they said they would call, they did not call, we sent an e-mail and contacted them, they made an appointment for 20 days later. It's not my fault, why should I wait a month for it to be done? What should I use to sleep at this time? very bad service
Ordered my furniture over 6 weeks ago, faulty product was delivered - We were advised new replacement will be arranged its been 3 weeks not able to get hold of the right team in the store or from head office with an update. Very disappointed with the service not sure if I will visit again
Went here to buy a sofa & cuddler I had my eye on. Got what I wanted, no fuss and super speedy service. Hazel is an amazing sales assistant, very friendly and knowledgeable
Very disappointed. Spent £1500 on a couch, it was missing a strap. After contacting them they said they will phone me back which never happened. I had to phone them again after a week and I’ve been told that it actually doesn’t need a strap over there. After arguing about it for a while they said they are going to contact me later. Again never happened
Hi all,just a small warning to anyone looking to buy new furniture,we bought these2 sofas from DFS London road glasgow,the photos show the sofas just 4 days days after delivery,the backs collapsed on all 4 seats,so straight on internet to email photos to head office who only took 5 months to send an upholsterer to try and fix them,the guy arrived 2 days ago to open up the backs to try and pad them up to look a bit better,they did look better for 2 days and have started to go back in again,moral of this story if you are looking for quality furniture defo don’t go to DFS a load of expensive junk.
