A decent sized store, very clean and well laid out although I did get turned around a couple times! Staff are very helpful and seem honest, there are also toilets in store which is a huge bonus for me when we had been out all morning before popping in! The only thing I wish places like DFS would make more apparent are the extra charges when ordering both compulsory and optional so you don’t think you’re getting a sofa for one price and then bam you’re actually paying several hundred more than you first thought!
Spent an hour lounging around chair to chair.....this caught our eye. Not sure about the colour though really?
Terrible customer service. Was sold a 4k leather sofa telling my wife it would be great for the arthritis in her back but guess what the sofa looks 20 years old after having it 3 years. Multiple issues with the suite uses not working recliners not working arms on both sofas feel as though they are ready to snap off the list goes on . Getting past to multiple people to try and sort issues but getting knowhere. Even had a fitter come to refill the seat in 5 places and then he told us not to lean on the arms as it would weaken them. what a joke this company is now, lesson learnt and will never buy new again.
Dreadful customer service. Ordered a sofa took 12 weeks to come that’s fine, I knew that when I ordered. They sent it with the wrong feet, it’s now been an extra 12 weeks that I’ve been waiting for the correct f’ing feet to arrive24 weeks since placing the order. I’ve called a million times and on each occasion I’m told it’s been escalated to management. Shop elsewhere.
Excellent service and loads to choose from. I knew In my head what I was looking for, had plenty to choose from. 0% finance over 4years only until 2nd March and then its 0% over 3 years. Excellent service from a young knowledgeable lady.
I have bought several sofas from DFS Darley Dale over the years, associating the store with quality and a reputation for good customer service. Unfortunately I have been sadly let down, being sold a sofa and foot stool, utilising the stool as an extra seat. The foot stool is so weakly manufactured both engineers who have visited have advised it is not really a seat and will probably fail in time. My problem now arises in gaining anybody to take responsibility. Darley Dale have turned over responsibility to Sheffield, and Sheffield never contact me. This has been going on for weeks now, my frustrations are growing as is my confidence in DFS. Should I have to post a negative review to get action, surely not… but let’s see if this wakes them up. —— Well 3 weeks on, one phone call from a manager who promised to fix the stool. The Engineer called to tell me it was well beyond his capabilities… on site, and we agreed that he shouldn’t waste either of our time. Since then nothing… I call daily to chase up, promised call backs… But nothing… Shoddy is an understatement --- Once Darley dale management took over control of the defect away from Sheffield the stool was rectified within weeks, fully and I am more than satisfied now. Unfortunately the whole experience was rather unpleasant until Darley Dale did take over ownership, so this may be an unfair review on their part as they were only following procedures. But maybe DFS as company need to review their complaints procedures/rectification policy as a whole.
Customer service: The staff here are extremely helpful and confidently knowledge about the producrs they have to offer. They was pushy sales people either and it was a experience to shop in. Environment: The showrooms are excellently laid out and the place is a little like a Warren so have a good wonder around first and try out some of the sofas. They also sell beds dining room tables and some accessories. The site is covid safe and appropriately clean and and comfortable. Wheelchair friendly for people who have mobility difficulties as it's mainly ground level with some raised areas which are ramps rather than steps. Quality: The quality of products here are great and the price is for the best part reflective of the quality. However, there is a range of sofas so they can help with all budgets. There is some good bargains to be had here and would definitely use them again. Summary: Good customer service without pushy sales people but willing to help where they can. The showrooms are covid safe and clean but explore the whole showroom first as it is like a Warren. The products are a good quality and woth a range of pricing for all budgets. 5/5
Absolutely shocking customer service. Ordered a bed, they mess up delivery and collected the old bed paid DFS extra for however found out after collection, the new bed wasn’t even ready for delivery! Only interested in new customers wanting to order, so they can get commission. Manger and staff haven’t got a clue how to contact internal departments to get things resolved. They never answer emails and all this stress days after being discharged from hospital…absolute shower…avoid ordering from them at all costs!!!!!
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE! We ordered a sofa at the end of July which cost £6,000, we received a message 3 weeks ago to expect delivery. We never received the call. Customer service is absolutely shocking, they call the store who do not answer then refuse to speak to you for 72 hours. After calling every day for 3 weeks we have been told that DFS attached the wrong order number and have now SOLD OUR SOFA TO SOMEONE ELSE. After asking DFS what they are going to do about this they have told us that we need to wait until DECEMBER. To ‘hopefully’ receive a new sofa then. You can not speak to anyone, and are left with no sofa sat on a hard wooden floor. Absolutely disgusting.
Brill store loads of choices but as for customer service awful. The salesman really didn't care whether we brought from him or not because we didn't go for the 4 grand leathers been there done that last time wanted something different still 1600 sale that you lost because couldn't be bothered to give us the time of day. Sadly disappointed I went elsewhere
