Nice little station which connects you to the local areas. Good links to Leeds, York, Huddersfield, Manchester airport. The bridge could do with a refurb. Area for storing bikes and waiting rooms on both platforms.
Lack of disabled access is utterly disgraceful and surely goes against Equality Act. On many days it is physically impossible for wheelchair users and many disabled people to access Platform One. It is not operationally impossible to have functioning elevators at this station. Access for disabled people is a LEGAL REQUIREMENT!!! Adjustments here are inadequate and discriminatory.
Nice little train station that connects Dewsbury with big cities, staff is usually very helpful.
Locked toilets that whilst signed to close at 7.15 actually close earlier. Requires a staff member to let you in and none to be found anywhere.nnVery poor facilities.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean station with a Victorian atmosphere. It has a safe feel to the place with the ticket office being manned most of the time.
