My partner came for a procedure which required a biopsy, the doctor told us 2 weeks for results, as cancer was a possibility.nnWe waited 6 weeks, calling regularly and often receiving either no reply, or being told that the practice would call us back. Our NHS GP also struggled to get hold of the team. Nobody phoned us back until I left a 1 star review here.nnAfter emailing Oliver, the practice investigated and phoned us to give us results and explain the situation, as well as apologise for the distress caused, it was apparently a clerical error. The person who we spoke with was exceptionally thorough and kind.nnNot an ideal experience, but resolved to our satisfaction.
Staff were ok however I felt they made multiple errors and this definitely affected my comfort with the service and them.nn- when I arrived they had my appointment down for 9:30 and assumed I wasn’t turning up however I had my letter that said 10amnn- the student nurse who did a pregnancyntest as a precaution didn't wait for full 3 minsnn- when sedating me they attempted to do so x4 times in x4 different locations which was very uncomfortable for me and I wasn’t happy with at allnn- in recovery the nurse was very unhelpful which led me to tears and I just wanted to see the person who came with me however they wouldn’t allow it because of other patients, but they had curtains for privacy and at the time no patients were there but me, which I thought was wrong of them and didn’t agree with, as when I went to get my first two wisdom teeth removed at Emerson green it was great and this wasn’t the case.nn- not informative at all I had to contact emersons green practice to get more and the correct information to know when I can eat drink and start the mouthwash they gave me - so again lacked information I NEED to knownn- lastly I asked for a discharge summary so I know what they’ve actually done to me as I was sedated but they didn't give me one, I asked my friend to go in and ask, they said its the bag with my medicine, but this was not what I asked for. I have rang to ask again today but woman on phone said she’ll ask then said bye and hung up, she also seemed very condescending on the phone when I asked for this or even an email of it. So far I still have not received this which patients should receive a paper copy of this
I had an appt for an xray. It was simple to register myself at the desk. There is plenty of seating. I went in on time and the staff were pleasant. There are toilets, carparking and a shed to park your push bike.
Genuinely wish I could give 0 stars, dental consultant was about to numb the wrong side of my mouth, no one said anything until I told him it was the incorrect side, this is after 3 people confirmed which tooth and even marked the side, consultant then attempted to remove my wisdom tooth 3 times while I could feel the entire procedure, anaesthetist had to step in and stop the procedure as my heart rate climbed to 180bpm, absolutely awful experience
Had my wisdom tooth removed a couple of days ago. The service from both the receptionists and the nurses was warm and comforting. Building looked well maintained and hygienic.nnWas given a piece of paper after tooth extraction with post-op care instructions that had a customer advice line on it. I called the day after extraction as I had a little concern but was on the phone to a lovely lady within 5 minutes who put my mind at ease.nnWould highly recommend
