Excellent food and the staff couldn’t be more attentive and friendly. Very busy on a Friday evening and great atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back!Food: 5/5
Four of us went here for a meal at 1pm on a Saturday. Thankfully we reserved a table as the couple ahead of us didn't and they ate at the bar. Upon being seated, we were given glasses of water while we perused the menu. The menu wasn't extensive but I didn't have any difficulty finding something to suit my limited taste in food. We were surprised at how long it took for the food to arrive, it really didn't look that busy. However, we all enjoyed our food which was club sandwiches, mussels and fish and chips. Our server was lovely and very attentive. It only cost us €70 for four main meals. There was no alcohol, just sparkling water so that kept the price down. Of course, there was a tip added on top of that.
Great food and a menu that has everything. Cocktails are great here too with a French bistro feel that is nice and warm in the winter. I think this place is nicer mid week as you can relax and stay a bit longer. Can be a little rushed on the weekend but all round very good spotFood: 5/5
Worth a review! Food was excellent, great service. Lovely buzz. Great little neighbourhood spot which attracts locals and tourists alike. Good value too, given quality of food. Would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
This restaurant is incredible! Fresh local ingredients made for the best meal we’ve had in a while. The salmon and desserts are delicious. Additionally the bathrooms had amazing water pressure and nice towels. Upscale place, enjoyable meal, great for celebrating a special occasion.
Three stars because the lobster had almost no meat and was very spicy. Restaurant is very busy, so be prepared for a lot of noise. We loved the lamb and will go back.Food: 3/5
Amazing evening at DeVille’s. Surprisingly, the fish was the star of the menu. The rack of Lamb was excellent, as were the Lamb Kidneys but the Sole and the Place tonight’s special were perfectly cooked, and brilliantly presented. A true feast well served. So much food in the starters and mains, no room and no need for desert.
Went for dinner last night for my son’s birthday. Just have to say how good the waiter was at our table didn’t get his name but he was from Croatia . He was excellent didn’t have to ask for top up of water or bread just really efficient and good at his job . He is a credit to you . Thank you for a lovely evening and food was great also . We will be back
Fabulous DeVilles. What a magnificent restaurant with delicious food, friendly + caring staff, and a lovely selection of private booths + tables to ensure a memorable dining experience for all. I came from NZ to see old friends in Dun Laoghaire, and revelled in being able to get a medium rare burger plus the best chocolate dessert I’ve ever had! Fabulous dining experience. I’ll be back. Very highly recommended.
Food was good, drinks were good and most of the cocktails were only 9.50 which was a great price outside of the city centre, service was pleasant but they didn't really show much personality. They were able to take a booking of 5 that day which was good as they seemed busy the whole time we were there. Their oysters were really fresh, as was the rest of their seafood. The sauce for the prawns starter was great we even asked for more bread to mop it up. The creme brulee was also good. The burger special with brie and crispy onions was delicious. Only downfall was when I rang to book I asked did they have mussels, the waiter asked the chef and he said yes which we heard over the phone, but when we went to order at the restaurant my brother asked could he order mussels and the waiter straight away said no, and made no enquiry to the kitchen. We enjoyed our meal but I only booked it because of the mussels as two of the party really wanted it that day so that was a disappointment. Other than that every thing else was fine. All of the covid restrictions were up to par, you will feel safe here.
