Story

Opened in 1980 by Peter Devereux and purchased by me Ian Collins in 2005.
I have dreamt of owning this bike shop since 12 so I am now living the dream.
If it is cycle related and it can be fixed, we can fix it.
Servicing, spares and repairs, from a single bolt to a £10000 custom build, we can do it.

Fantastic service from Ian here. My bike feels like new now & it’s 30 years old. All Ian did was supply the parts: my best friend fitted them. The point is: he had them in stock and it was lovely to see his shop when I went for them. I’d phoned ahead first; he’d answered very promptly. A class act. Use your local bike shop! Absolutely fantastic. The 5 star reviews are definitely deserved. Dropped my mountain bike off for a service and was very satisfied, especially with the price. Now need to find the time to drop off 2 other bikes to be serviced. Now managed to book my wife Vanessa's bike in as well.

Absolutely fantastic. Ian got me out of a snag when I broke a spoke near by. He was stuffed to the brim with work but still took my bike in. Great prices and a friendly welcome, it’s always been a great experience!
First of all, Just want to say that I got very lucky when I chose this bike shop to visit first. I was worried and didn’t have much clue what type of bike I would go for. Secondly, the moment we were seen in stores everything was super easy with the help of the owner. He was very generous and kind. He recommended great products which will keep us safe and protected. He had a great range of bikes too which was great. Thank you very much for your service. I can’t recommend this store enough, it’s the only time I’ve been in store and been pointed in not just the right direction but the best direction for what I need. So thank you very much.
Devereux cycles is a brilliant bike shop. Take my bike here for the more difficult repairs I can't do myself. Every time, my bike has come back perfect can't say that about some of the other big name retailers I've used in the past. Repairs are done quickly and the prices are very reasonable. Can't recommend enough. Forget the big name brands - support your local bike shop.
