WOW !!! Went with friend as I had seen online they do a buffet on Sunday nights for £9.85. So we arrived and I could not see any buffet so asked if it was on and the “waiter” said yes, my friend then asked where it was (as we could not see any food out) “ we just call it buffet” was the response!!!! I was immediately turned off but his terrible manner and the fact they were false advertising, but thought we’ll take a look at the menu as we are here now. We waited around 15min for drinks orders then a further 10min for food orders. Now don’t get me wrong the food was amazing, but service so far was shocking. My friend asked for a tap water and he took his coke glass rinsed it out and filled it with water, like they only have 3 glasses to use. When it came to paying I’d noticed on the menu it said card payments were accepted,which I thought was good as I usually don’t have cash on me, so went to the till to pay to be greeted by a different “waiter” eating a meal and waving his hand at us for the payment. I said “oh I’m paying by card” he said they didn’t accept card payments so I pointed out it said you do on your menu!!! “ there’s a sign on the door” was the answer given (need to point out the door was wedged open so couldn’t actually see the sign) no explanation or “sorry about that, there is a cash machine just over the road” - fuming !!!! I have referred to the guys as “waiters” just because I don’t know what they were ???? I thought waiters were meant to have manners and be polite and welcoming to their guests but these were far from it !!!!! Will not be going back and sticking with Joy Bangla !!!!!

This is just a no frills great place to meet up with friends and have a top quality meal that is very reasonably priced. The onion bhajis are the best! Would advise against any of the mushroom starters though I think they use tinned. Friendly staff and very efficient service. Not somewhere I'd go for a romantic meal (especially on Saturdays) as the clientele are generally quite loud. If the weather's cold take something warm though as their heating consists of a clalor gas heater.

Absolutely appalling service, too long for popadoms never mind starters! MY starter when it turned up (chicken tikka) was over cooked and very dry. Heating system must have been broken (probably none existent) as portable gas fires are the weapon of choice. Would not recommend.

Excellent food. Very fresh and tasty. Friendly staff and good priced.
