Definitely worth a visit! As an English guy living in the US for the last 8 years, my American wife and I adored Derry Girls so we planned a jaunt to Ireland whilst visiting my parents in England. We rented a car in Dublin and drove up to Derry. The drive up was gorgeous, and Derry itself was way nicer than expected. The people were super friendly, prices were amazing too. Plenty of local businesses to go and support when you see the mural. The mural itself is a superb piece of artwork and bigger in person to see. We found it easier to park around the corner on the steep hill on Shipquay St. You get an hour of free parking, and it's a 5min walk to the mural. Be warned, it is a very steep hill to park on.nnI'm now a Derry Girl!
A graphiti on the wall, nicely made woth a few flaws...ver small space but interesting...Derry is a big city and clean!
If you're a fan of the show it's a must see! It's very easy to get to as well. Nice mural but had an awning for the pub attached to it. It doesn't detract much from the mural as you can see from the photo. The 5 main characters are in the photo. James, Michelle, Erin, Orla & Clare.
A must-see for fans of the show and anyone visiting Derry! The mural perfectly captures the spirit and humor of Derry Girls and has become an iconic part of the city’s cultural landscape. It’s located right in the heart of the city, making it easy to stop by for a photo. Great spot to soak in some local pride and nostalgia!
It's a murial on the side of a pub. Nothing special, better view from the top of the walls
