Friendly staff and really good service. I've been coming here for over 5 years and have got many treatments done such as hair and make up, eyesbrows, shellac and facials and the results were amazing. I would definitely recommend it.

Had appointment on 23rd April with Catherine.

To begin with she asked me if I wanted a cut I said I didn’t, she got angry and insisted  I needed one, feeling like I’d been bullied into having a cut  I said OK only a trim, she started to trim my hair so I asked if it was better to trim it after the colour and this just pissed her off more and she insisted she cut it first.  I should have left the salon from this point as her customer service skills where disgusting.

After she did the colour we went to the sink, I sat at a angle thinking she was only going to wash the foils out but she said in her rude tone of voice “what you doing” again shocked I sat back and let her wash it all. I did explain to the manager the day before not to worry about washing etc as I only wanted a fine strip of colour through the right side of my hair.,  Had Catherine cut my hair after the colour it would probably make sense that I need it all washed but this wasn’t the case. I had 3 foils in my hair.

She dried my hair and was rough as she quickly straightened it and asked me what I thought I replied it looks to light as it looked orange.  She instantly replied sarcastically "here we go”. Once again I was shocked at her response as this is no way to treat a customer, and just let it go.

I Went to pay and she said it cost £50, we simply asked her for a breakdown of how it came to £50, her reply was "That's the problem with you Indians you don't want to pay for anything".  I didn’t refuse to pay or indicate that I was refusing to pay.  I was Very shocked at her racist remark and she started shouting at us and told  us this is over now leave the shop. Told her we would never get treated like this in any other salon, she replied in her sarcastic tone go there next time. 

Her breakdown was: £20 Cut and blow dry & £30 half head highlights
I had a dry trim and 3 foils.

Catherine went on to her next customer telling her what  just happened,  I asked Catherine you said this was over so why  are you now discussing it with you’re your next customer.  she came and stood right into my face and carried on arguing then slammed the door in my face!  I was totally shocked.!!!!!!!!!!!

Many customers where seated in the salon who witnessed this they were shocked and told me that was out of order. I later discussed this with the manager who agreed I was overcharged and refunded me with £10 with no apology and no intentions of discussing this with Catherine as she said she needs a hair dresser.

Later Unsatisfied with this and still feeling shocked like I had been attacked. I arranged to give the £10 back and asked the manager what she was going to do about her hairdresser’s racist, unprofessional and aggressive behavior as no customers should be treated in this way.

Basically after many discussions with the manager she agreed Catherine’s behavior was unacceptable, however in regards to the racist remark she said Catherine confirmed she did say “you Indians want everything for nothing, 
However the manager felt it was justified because the customer from the week before had refused to pay along with many Indians always wanting discount!!!! I wasn’t happy with this as I didn’t ask for a discount or refuse to pay, so the manager said she would call me the next day to continue discussing this but never did.

I was insulted and wasted £50 in this salon I dyed over the colour as it was way to orange from what I asked for.  This was the first time I went to this salon and will never go again or even dare recommend them. Totally unprofessional
