A little gem of a woodland bordering the river - with pathways meandering through towering mature trees, together with quirky artwork Deri woods is a real treat!nNB the paths are quite narrow & there's steep steps in places.

Tranquil sliver of beautifully maintained woodland running alongside the river. Picnic benches, viewpoints and kids sensory area. Wild garlic, bluebells and young ferns in mid May.

A very peaceful place to walk by the bank of the river Bandy, in the village of Llanfair Caereinion . The photo shows someone fly fishing about half a mile downstream from Deri wood ,seen  from the bridge over the river leading from the railway into the village

Nice riverside location.  Be warned, the distances given on the signs for walks at the site are not accurate.  The walks are nothing like as long as the signs state!

Well laid paths and a calm and tranquil walk.
