Took my son recently and everyone in the childrens A&E department were friendly, speedy and kept me fully informed. The ward sister and lead surgeon were absolutely fantastic in keeping us up to date, and the fab ward nurses kept him calm with humour when inserting and removing his cannula. Also one of the most cleanest A&E departments I have attended.
Been visiting this hospital for many years with different situations and I have to say they have always been amazing, great staff and caring. I owe them massively with the help and support they gave my daughter a few years ago and continue to do so
My granddaughter had a dental appointment on the sunflower ward she had 4 baby teeth removed and some of her other baby teeth capped, my daughter, granddaughter and I was well looked after through the day and all staff were excellent.
Absolutely amazing! Took our little girl due to a dislocated elbow, the nurse was so knowledgeable and sorted the issue straight away. She was amazing with our little girl, so warm and compassionate. We were in and out within 20 mins. The nurses and doctors here need to be recognized for the amazing work they do, despite being up against an almost impossible situation working for the NHS.
Took my soon this morning and everyone in the department was amazing. The receptionist was very helpful, the nurses were great and explained things to him and the doctor was absolutely fantastic keeping him calm letting him hear his lungs and heartbeat with a stethoscope and explaining what was happening. What an amazing team they have.
Going through triage is a terrible experience. Some of the staff are nice but some are rude. Arrived at 11am, wasn’t processed through triage until 7pm and then taken to the ward at 11pm. This was a 15 week old with covid and a uti. Who hasn’t eaten correctly for a few days.
Staff and consultants are focused and wonderful. Grateful for the health care provided. Thank you.
The nurses at the children's outpatients taking blood today thurs 16th july 2020 were absolutely amazing! Our son is autistic with learning difficulties and was extremely nervous and upset about having blood taken, the 2 nurses I didnt get there names dealt with him incredibly letting me and dad deal with him and helping when needed but standing back when needed and then coming in to help , they read the situation beautfully and couldnt have been better !
I went last night with very high fever for my son...and write down the symptoms some Nurofen, and that's all...we stay two hours for nothing didn't visit his... anything, and the child always cried! Awful very awful
Absolutely brilliant service. All staff are very friendly, polite and proffesional. We spent there in total 40 minutes and received all nessacery help. Thank you very much!!!
