Brilliant school, teachers are fantastic with my visually impaired daughter, Fantastic support network. For a new school I can’t recommend it enough. So glad I choose this school for my daughter which was hard given her needs but they have been brilliant. The head is lovely who truly cares about every child and is visible daily at home time so I have to say he’s doing a brilliant job, Lyn on reception wonderful lady. I have Read two bad reviews about derby cathedral and as a parent of a child that attends the school please take no notice as I’ll just say no such teachers work there.
this school is very bad wouldn’t recommend. the bullying policy is HORRIBLE!! and they only moved the problem AFTER I moved- the teaching is okay but they barely set any homework. they changed how the classes work so they are no longer on ability levels which is NOT HELPFUL AT ALL so all the great amazing students -like me- we in classes with poorly behaved ones. don’t send your kids here! if you experience ANY problems they literally do nothing.
Daughter goes to this school its fantastic nothing to complain and believe me if there was a problem would do so.
