Well what can I say... I had been looking at the reviews that Derby Car Centre have been getting on here and some were excellent and some not that good to say the least... However, I did not want to judge, so decided to visit the centre and see what I was presented with.... On arrival I was greeted with a smiling face and I was left to look around until I was ready to discuss my choice in a car.... The salesman, Suki was very patient and no question was a silly question, I felt at ease ... I test drove 5 cars and I didn't hear a grumble out of Suki at all. He wasn't pushy and was always smiling. One of the cars I test drove was a Range Rover Sports and fell in love with the car and the Company, everything was completed in a relaxed way with clear communication. When the car was ready to be picked up, everything was explained to me and it was valeted to a high standard. I have purposely waited a month to write my review as I do a lot of driving so wanted to make sure the car works as it should. I can only say it is wonderful and I even got a courtesy call to check how me and the car were getting on, "excellent" I said. I can only say, don't judge before you visit, I have had a wonderful experience and I will be going back next month to look for a car for my son and I will be seeing Suki. Many thanks to Suki especially and Derby Car Centre for a excellent service. You will see me soon
I purchased a car recently from Derby Car Centre and found the experience enjoyable throughout. I was met at the gate with a friendly smile from a salesman, who then pointed me in the right direction of some cars which suited what I told him I was looking for. I test drove 2 different cars and then decided upon my car. I was given a great price for my part exchange too! The car was readied for me three days later, when I picked it up and am thoroughly happy with my new car. I will definitely be back to buy my next!
We bought our dream car from Derby Car Centre and found Suki and the team, honest, helpful and they all seemed hardworking and sincere. We were driving down from Tyne & Wear to collect a Supercharged Range Rover and to be honest we think we got the bargain of a lifetime. We are very happy customers - thank you guys. Purchased a car yesterday and the salesmen were fantastic. Nothing too much trouble. Suki and John were very helpful friendly and professional. My partner purchased a transit van also a few weeks ago and the same standard of service was given. He's delighted with his van as I'm sure I will be with my car. I brought a car from here last month , it was a Ford Focus excellent condition, not found a single issue. I dealt with David and he was very professional and straight talking, also the valet crew here were brilliant got my car looking great. Would highly recommend derby car center, 5 stars all round .
On reading the negative reviews I felt it only fair to give my positive experience at Derby car centre. My husband saw the land rover discovery on the internet and went to have look. It was just what we wanted as we needed a bigger car and to tow a caravan but I was reluctant at first because I knew they had been on watchdog and trading standards had been involved. That said I went along and had a look at the car. We had a test drive it it was a nice drive, we liked it, so I told them I knew about watchdog. We were buying an £8000 car and part X an Audi which they have us £12000 for which was a brilliant part X price. From the onset we dealt a lot with mark the owner and I can honestly say I was very wary at first, but mark couldn't do enough for us. He assured us that Derby 4x4 would check the car over and if there was anything at all seriously wrong he would not sell it us. He also gave us a years mot even though it had a few months left on it. He was in constant contact with my husband, updating him with Derby 4x4 findings and in the end spent over £800 on the car getting it spot on for us, giving us all the paperwork as proof! We had no problem getting the extra money from our part X and we're happy with the car so off we went, happy! We have had a couple of things with the car since, one of them being the brake warning light came on, we phoned mark and he said to take it Derby 4x4 which we did and it was just a warning to say they were getting ready but were OK to use. We told mark and he agreed to pay half as he knew we towed a caravan, he didn't have too! Mark has been contactable and completely fair with us on the two occasions I've needed to contact him. We have just come back from Somerset towing a caravan and couldn't fault the disco, spot on! Think it's fair to say you get what you pay for!
I went to part chop my car and she what they had. I met a sales man called Geoff Pearson. He was friendly and helpful. I got the deal I wanted and I have had the car a month now with no complaints. I would recommend Geoff If you want a car that can fit around your budget. I know they sell around 120 cars a month. So 7 bad reviews is quite low in respect of that. When I am ready to change again I would she what he has. so far so good. Geoff even gave me his mobile If I needed help with anything on the car.
Liars and thieves!!! I found a car that would be very good for our family and gave them a call. They said to get first refusal I need to pay for it and if I didn't like it I would be refunded. They were to deliver the cat in a couple of days... The car never arrived, so I gave them a call and was told it would be next week. Still no car. When I eventually got through to the sales person I needed after getting fobbed off a lot I found that the car was not as advertised so I asked for a refund... This did not happen. I spoke to the sales manager who fobbed me off a few more times before saying he was not going to refund my money. Luckily I paid by credit card so I contacted them to get the money back, otherwise I would be looking at going to court. Avoid them like the plague.
I was quite nervous about buying a car as it was my first but Suki was amazing. He gave me some guidance and advice but then left me alone to have a look around to see what I liked. There are lots of cars to choose from within lots of price ranges. In the end I went with his recommendation as I got an amazing deal. I walked away with a car that far exceeded my expectations. I have already recommended this place to family and friends and shall continue to do so.
I brought a car around 5months ago from here, fiat punto. When I purchased this car there was a few faults, so I took it back. They were more than happy to fix it, I got the car back within days and it was all sorted and my car is still running fine to this day, all the staff are so polite and very helpful, i would highly recommend this place, they have a wide range to choose from, and are always there to help.
