This historic hotel/pub/restaurant in a beautiful little city is a real find! Food is truly great, staff is even better. The room was decent sized, very clean, and quite comfortable. Breakfast was included and had excellent choices. The history and feel of the place was the icing on top.nCheck in was a tad confusing and parking was tough to find at first it was a Saturday night with a huge rugby match on television. However, the staff were helpful in getting me squared away on both.
Absolutely fabulous all round, breakfast is simply stunning. Fantastic staff, awesome atmosphere, and conveniently located close to local amenities. The new apartments are finished to a high standard and well equipped for a family. Local musicians playing in the bar make for an enjoyable evening. The outside bar area is great for an evenings entertainment. Will definitely stay again.

Great old world hotel lively atmosphere and great staff,friendly and efficient.
This is a beautiful hotel, we had a family room, it was beautiful, and the room was a good size. The bed was the best/most comfortable I have ever slept in. The room was a short walk from the main hotel and restaurant but it felt very secure and the staff took us there when we arrived. Be prepared to carry your luggage because it isn't possible to stop with a car/taxi outside the entrance to the rooms we stayed in. Totally wished we stayed longer because we had a lovely time and there were lots of interesting things to see and do in the area. We enjoyed Down County Museum, St Patrick's burial place and the Catherdral.
