Went for a Birthday recently. Food was a good quality and the steak was cooked to perfection. Guinness was tasty too so it definitely isn't sitting in the pipe too long. Only complaints were that portions were a bit stingy with half filled ramekins of chips served with dishes including my £20 steak meal. Worth checking the menu too as it wasn't as advertised on-line with the wife not getting her sticky toffee treat for her birthday. Our party was also only given the choice of either the Christmas menu or the regular dinner menu which caused some ...discussion. All in all a nice quaint little place but not somewhere to go if you're really hungry (maybe order a few extra side portions).
