Had bedroom carpets fit a few weeks ago and this week had living/dining room stairs and landing. Nice carpet, good price and once the fitters got off the mobile....a decent job. But was extremely annoyed to find out from my neighbours that the carpet was rolled out on the road stopping traffic to be cut, which I didn't see, I had to find out from neighbours. We don't wear shoes in the house yet the carpet has been all over the bloody road.
I just want to say l will never use this company again! Nothing wrong with their products but the service we received was rubbish The flooring in all rooms was supposed to be laid at one time but they missed the bathroom It was arranged for the following week but no show! It took several phone calls they never rang back and then ended up saying they'd managed to fit me in as the fitter was busy The attitude of the staff was very rude
Called in the shop to purchase laminate flooring g to be totally ignored by all staff we eventually walked out will purchase elsewhere.

I asked for a quote twice before someone come, a man came after 2 months, he measured 4 different room and now I have any news from them since 4 weeks. Very bad organisation, I prefer to pay more and have a good service.
The flooring wasn't glued down in all places, there were parts of the vinyl that were badly creased and the treatment I was told would be prepared at the front door was completely ignored. After the job was done, there was glue left all over the floor. It looks alright from a distance, but for the money they charge it was just a rushed job and an absolute rip-off. They wouldn't even show a breakdown of the price quoted. It's been nearly 4 weeks since the flooring was laid and the glue that was left on the vinyl still hasn't been removed. Also the lad in the store who I just spoke to was completely out of order. The affected area has now been removed and replaced, so at least they resolved the issue of the sticky floor.
Really good helpful service. You could probably get cheaper fitting, but I can't fault the service you get from the actual employees.
Measured my kitchen in Feb, lost my details twice, took till May to sort it out, left my kitchen in such a mess after finally getting the floor fitted. Total incompetence. Will never use again.
Where do we start. Very helpful sales man but it goes down hill from there. 100% would never recommend Bought flooring for my business from franks as it was the only store that did a nearly colour match from laminate to lyno as I needed the 2 types of flooring for my shop. Fitted the lyno end really badly I had someone else fit the laminate thank god so came back out to do it again free of charge. They don't contact you we have had to ring them or pop in to store to chase up all the time. Then we decided to give them a second chance to do our house. They charged us £1500 for 2 bedrooms 1 front room and stairs with a very small landing. They sent a 3 meter carpet for the front room when we needed 4 meters so that's been peaced now. then sent enough carpet to do our stairs 3 times we have a 10ft by 9 1/2 ft stair carpet left over. They won't Give us any money back as its not there problem. They charged us £250 for fitting the stairs carpet isn't even fitted right apparently the way we want it is the American way. When my husband has googled how to fit a carpet on the stairs It's the way we want it. Everytime hubbys gone in all he gets is shrugged shoulders from the manager. And apparently if we want the stairs sorting out we have to pay another £60 to £70. And today its the first time the managers herd anything about it all that's not true we've sent emails n I've lost count how many times my husband has been in. I'm telling clients about it at work and 90% say only once and never again would they use them.
We have been buying our carpets and flooring from Frank's for over 20 years. We went to the Darlington store last week was served by a young man, he was very helpful and got the carpet we wanted and a great deal too. You can't go wrong buying your carpets from Frank's.
