The location is very convenient that is close to Beaumaris Castle, town centre and Castle Street. There is also a large car park that charges £5 per day. You can enjoy very nice scenery of the mountain in Wales mainland and Menai Strait. You can also take the ferry to the outlying island from the pier, and watch different types of birds if you are lucky enough too! However, I did not try during the visit owing to strong wind and continuous shower all the morning
A lovely little pier to be enjoyed in all especially sunny weather. This pier has recently been renovated, and is both clean and tidy with very nice mountain and Beaumaris Sea Harbour views etc. I particularly like to visit in the rain when there is an almost, 'mystical' type quality about the Beaumaris harbour. A very nice place indeed. :
Great fun. The seagulls are cheeky , hold on to your icecreams
Great place for crabbing. My son loved it and caught several crabs. Loads of children were trying their best to catch crabs. Once again some great views. I sat in the shelters and watch the day go by. We then wandered down to the beach to let the crabs go. There’s a little shop at the front of the pier that sells crabbing nets. It’s it literally a short walk in to the town where there are cafes, bars, shops and pubs. Once again there’s a Liverpool pub near the front.
Enjoyed my time spent on the pier. Fruitful crabbing for all ages! Also the zone for the boat trips and such. Went from here for the puffin island tour which was a lot of fun and highly recommended. Very beautiful scene when the sun is setting too.
Stunning views. Lots of fantastic places to shop and eat. Plus you can get on a boat at Beaumaris Pier to Puffin Island. Well worth a visit
Lovely little pier with fantastic views on a good day. Clean & tidy with plenty of seats. Great for crabbing and the boat trips are fun.
Beautiful views of the whole mountain range. Shops, cafes, fun boat rides. A great place to go crabbing too.
Ideal for crabbing, the kiosk at the pier entrance sold everything we needed including bait. The views are spectacular along the cost and across the mainland North Wales. Would recommend for a fun family activity.
Great place to go crabbing. Bought a net and bait from the shop and caught loads with the kids. Lovely views and fun for all ages. Plenty of seats for those wanting to watch the world go by. Special place for our family and looking forward to going back soon for fish and chips and ice cream on the pier.
