Very posh, had some tea and drank it with my pinky out the entire time I just couldn't put it away it was like I was being forced. Its definitely a place you could bring someone for a nice meal and drink. Despite the fact its very nice inside it also family friendly and somewhere you could sit down and have a meal with your family.
Lovely cafe/Deli. Staff were really nice. The full English breakfast was possibly the best I've ever had, and the price was fantastic. Can't wait to call again soon and sample more of the menu
Great coffee, cake and savouries. All made on the premises and good quality and value. Does nice soup which is especially welcome on a winter's day. Staff very welcoming and friendly and helpful. Sells a great range of cheese, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, chutneys, etc. An excellent independent café and eatery.
Lovely cafe, first time in Wakefield for a car show and called in for a spot of lunch with my family. Everything made fresh, delicious and nothing too much trouble. Lovely staff, lovely atmosphere would highly recommend
I visited Wakefield for a sightseeing trip with a friend and we dropped into Deli Central for morning coffee. We were so impressed we reserved a table for a late lunch. Deli Central has a varied menu that includes lots of home-made salads, quiches and cakes. The vegetable soup was tasty and I especially enjoyed the accompanying scone. Add to this a friendly welcome and efficient service, I can't wait for my next visit!
Food is really good had the sharing platter which I can recommend it was delicious and excellent value
This is a great independent coffee shop & deli. Nice coffee, fantastic home made cakes and friendly staff. Well worth your support when you are in Wakefield
One visit may not be enough for an accurate review, but it is more than enough for a vague one. Part cheese display cabinet, part café, I can't describe Deli Central as anything more than mediocre, unfortunately. Price is important to me and, while it means your fellow diners are reduced to the quiet, old lady types who can afford it they also probably come to the knitting group I still felt I was paying over the odds. I prefer my panino to be slightly hotter, and squashed flatter. I prefer the vegetables in my side salad to be sliced into bite sized pieces, not diced enough for a salsa. And crisps? On the other hand, the americano was surprisingly smooth, and the loose rose petal tea from Taylors is recommended. The furniture could do with some cushions.

Very nice, not your usual coffee bar. Friendly, sociable staff, I will visit again.
