Amazing restaurant and shop, one of the few places that has Asian chaat. These are traditional street food snacks from India / Pakistan.nnFood is delicious and has very reasonable prices. They also sell lots of things for takeaway.nnTaken a few friends who tried it for the first time and all loved it.
I’ve been going there for a few months now and I wish I could go every day . Indian food was never my top choice for lack of knowledge or for poor willingness to try new foods. Best decision of my foodie life was going there under suggestion of a friend! Definitely recommendnThe waiters are so kind and efficient. The only restaurant in the area that greets you and recognises you and know your taste.
The restaurant is well maintained and spacious. The atmosphere is excellent, and staff members' coordination is highly appreciated.nnHowever,nThe food just deserves three stars. The bendi gravy served made this damage. I'm sorry for that, as just one visit may not satisfy us. Hope to visit again soon.
Update - we ate at Delhi Wala last night. We ordered so much food and it was all delicious. We had the samosa chaat, special dosa, aloo gobi, chilli panner, vegetable biryani, chilli naans, onion bhajis and salad. It was too much food really but we enjoyed sitting in and orderingnThe service was good and we didn't have to wait long for our food. It's a BYOB which is good to know for our next visit. We had started eating before I took photos!!nnI really like it here. We only ever get take away rather than sit in. The chilli naan and onion bhajis are the best. We've also had the vegetable biryani, and chilli paneer. All excellent.
We are regular visitor at delhiwala since it open. Yesterday i took a friend there to have some lunch. We ordered samosa chat, chole Bhature, Aloo tikki chhat and lassi. Typical what you call a lunch treat. However on our first bite we felt the change . Surprisingly many ingredients were missing on chats. It was Luke warm. The food was almost inedible. Chef change ? Ownership change ? Manager change ?nWe ask for the manager, we were told he/she is on break so we could not tell him how disappointed we were. The girl who served us was very polite and efficient.nI will not take any friend there for a treat because of embarrassment it caused. However I may try once more to check it it is one off case or permanently going down hill.
