UPDATE: REAR CAMERA STOPPED WORKING, DUE TO FRONT CAMERA NOT WORKING !!! HOW TO RESLOVE THE PROBLEM. NEW FRONT WINDOW SCREEN. COST 1110 !!!!!!! PLUS A ENGINE OIL LEAK £2000 AND MAY BE MORE ....THE CAR WITH NO manufacturing defects Our car was tested by dekra for Mercedes Benz. The car was taken for over 6 weeks for 1 day of testing. More questions than answers. When we received the report, pages were missing. They only took the car for a short test drive. This level of inspection is not value for money. When we requested for the full report, they refused and said as we did not order the report we have no right to see the full document. So we offer to pay for a second inspection. They said no. So we wrote to their German head office and the reply was mind blowing. We have an email from Dekra, stating "We please you to acknowledge that the report in question has been made by DEKRA in a specific frame given by another client than you" How is this independent testing? Working to a frame is not independent. Independent ? Sad times we live in when no one can be trusted. dekra german for how much
