Appalling Experience Ordered a table for 18:30 to be left to wait over an hour for the reservation. Nothing offered as an apology, at this point. The food quality, of the meat, is below normal standards. The sauce is fairly good, which masks the poor ingredients used. For a bill of £140 for three of us without any discount offered, even after we complained to the 'owner' due to the poor service and quality. His words "it was a busy night and nobody else complained". Simply appalling!
Its not the best! Starters were nice, we had honey ribs, duck rolls, fish cakes, prawn crackers. Husband had massaman curry and coconut rice, which he enjoyed. My main was chicken pad Thai... this was awful, full of fish sauce with a sweet aftertaste, it really wasn't edible. The lady did take it away and took it off the bill, so I just ordered some prawn toast which is basically on French garlic baguette... weird!... definitely won't go again although the staff were friendly and polite.
This is the best Thai restaurant I have gone. The fried rice are EXCELLENT and the signature dish- roast chicken, had a special sauce to make the dish upgraded. Lastly, the service from the staff was great and I will properly give tips to them.
Does relatively simple food really well, all the dishes are tasty and my mouth is watering just thinking about the spicy soup. Dee Thai has been consistently good for many years which is quite an achievement in itself. I am always happy if someone suggests going there for dinner.
Tasty Thai food, but service was a bit slow and they had crammed in more people than we expected, given current covid restrictions / guidelines. Didn’t feel as well controlled or safe as some other places we had been recently. Would like to see more space between tables. Might go back when things are back to normal but won’t be rushing back in the current circumstances.
Great dinner hosted by a business contact. Great Tom Yum chicken soup For starters. The main courses, desserts plus coffees were excellent too supported by sleek and efficient service.
I really like Thai Food, I have been to Dee Thai first time last night, Food was okay for my expectation however attitude service was terrible. Food served unbelievable quick , was surprised and than asked by 3-4 different waitresses if we were finished or not, we said many times not however at the end they brought the bill without asking which was a message clearly to say time to go. We want to sit down with my friend talk and spend time together but i have seen this is not a place for this. If you want to have a quick meal and then go should be okay but it is not a place to relax eat and enjoy. Even during our meal a few waitresses waiting next to table and staring to table make me really uncomfortable. Just keep in mind if you want to go Dee Thai only food or relaxing environment ?
Very disappointing take away again. Not tryed them for 2 years now. And no change. Cold food, which begs the question was it ever >55C I.e safe to eat? Even the dog couldn't chew the sticky rice. Not even possible to cut with a sharp knife. I know they have fans around here, but really? It's tasty sure enough, and perhaps the best of a really bad bunch around here when it comes to Thai / Chinese.
Hands down the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to! Superb ingredients cooked very well, served by lovely staff.. sounds simple but these guys get it spot on every single time
Dee Thai is without doubt the best Thai Restaurant in the Altrincham region - if not the best overall. The quality of food is consistently excellent and it is always an enjoyable atmosphere. Personally I love the Tempura Prawn starter and the green curry is nothing short of a delight.
