The brand new guy in the bike section was left to fend for himself and no help answering questions about bike servicing. No one else was around. He was very polite and tried to help but we left without a proper resolution. Probably won't go back.
I brought my son’s scooter and bike to be fixed and Robert had that done in no time at all even though it wasn’t that straight forward. He was very friendly, helpful and nothing seemed to be an issue for him. Great service. Highly recommended. thank you
Disappointing Experience at Decathlon Croydon:nnMy family and I visited Decathlon Croydon on May 6th, 2024, and while we found the staff to be friendly, the overall experience left much to be desired. The layout of the store was akin to navigating a maze, with bar fences obstructing fluid movement throughout the premises. As someone who has worked in a prison, I couldn't help but draw parallels to the restricted environment created by these barriers.nnTo make matters worse, the lack of privacy in the changing rooms was appalling. My wife discovered a camera in her changing cubicle, which not only invaded her privacy but also raised serious concerns about surveillance within the store. Additionally, several cubicles lacked a top, exposing customers to further intrusion.nnIt's clear that the head office management failed to adequately consider the implications of their store layout and security measures. Their oversight reflects a lack of attention to customer comfort and safety. Overall, our experience at Decathlon Croydon was marred by these shortcomings, and it's evident that significant improvements are needed to address these issues.
Just had my tire stolen from my bike at the gym, and got a quote from Sam and a co worker so I ordered a replacement tire.nI was so infuriated I had to buy a new one which cost just Under a £100 that I came close to buying an electric bike.nSam added that I shouldn’t rush to make such a big purchase and suggested to fix my current bike and decide later on the electric.nNow I’m here getting my tire fitted and am glad I took the advice and that he wasn’t a pushy sales guy, as my fiancés recently changed.nComfortable atmosphere and excellent service and advice. Great job and keep up the good work.
Great selection of sporting equipment and clothing in wide range of sizes. Staff knowledgeable and keen to assist if required. Checkout is a novel automatic system where your items are placed in a container and are scanned and automatically added. Very fast and seamless. Plus of course the usual good value on their prices!
