Went for a general look around and came out with 3 bargains! There is stacks of offers on at the moment! Got a manta Ray shirt for £9! Was £35! Amazing!! Shorts for £5! Get there quickly before it's all gone...disabled friendly, accessible to parking! And clean! Great day out 5*
Staff here are great considering what they've all gone through with Coronavirus. They were polite and served help if I as a customer needed it. So pleased our Debenhams is not closing in Winchester, but sorry for others that are.
Always find what I need, menswear shifts around a lot however they are up to date with style. Very wide walkways and easy to navigate. Wish they extended their homeware like other branches and do less duvet covers ! They literally have like a half of floor dedicated to duvet covers for a small dept store ! Staff always nice and friendly
I enjoyed looking around the store although it was very quiet there. Some nice items varying in price, in the Ladies Fashion Section. I especially liked the Jasper Conran display! Also the Cosmetic Section was well laid out and easy to browse around.
On Sunday 16th June used the Debenhams cafe. Genuinely impressed with the cleanliness, the quality of the food, and the manner of the staff. Well done, it was a pleasure to visit Winchester for that alone. Plus the store has some great quality fashionable men's clothes. A good day
A good old-fashioned-style department store does not mean it only sells old fashions. I can always find what I'm looking for and hope if the Debenhams chain continues closing their shops they don't close their Winchester store. I only wish it were larger with more things for sale. They have a very good cafe and you can indeed see Winchester Cathedral from the windows.
I really like Debenhams and their in-house brands. Good clothes and other goods at reasonable prices. I can't understand why they are struggling, really. Their menswear is way better value than, say M&S or others in the high street. Keep going!
Sales time. Where do they find all the rubbish? No assistants in view. Pretty glad to get out really and into M&S but that was the same so we got back on the lovely park and ride bus.
Medium sized store comparing with many others in the city centre. Not too crowded and easy to shop around inside the three floors. The coffee break during my shopping trip in the café is a real treat. There one can find a good selection of hot and cold drinks, beverage not to mention the bakery section displaying delicious pastry, cakes and biscuits etc.
For a department store there was a large amount of space unused. The Menswear section seemed to be a shadow of its former self Bedding n kitchenware huge amount of space not used so what they did have was limited For one of the remaining shops in Winchester this could be a gold mind - but at the moment its not an enjoyable experience
