Not a registered tourist attraction but as an alternative to the exposed beach it does offer an extensive refuge of peace and quiet and the beauty of many old trees. It is still a favoured place in town to walk dogs, ride cycles  and meet others. Opened in May 1856 it has graves from then up to the present day, a mix of civilian and military. The description in Wikipedia of Hamilton Road cemetery today is accurate. Monuments appear at all angles.
