It was our first time visiting Deadwood Smokehouse in Mold. We chose it because it was close to the Reindeer Lodge, and we were in the mood for a proper meat-focused evening. The restaurant itself is quite small, with around 20 covers, giving it a cosy and relaxed atmosphere.nnThe team were very kind, friendly, and welcoming, and we also found the place to be kid-friendly, which made the experience even nicer. The food was very good overall—exactly what you’d expect from a smokehouse menu. My wife’s brisket was a little on the dry side, but still flavourful. I had the tomahawk, which was really nice, although I was expecting it to be a bit thicker.nnThe kitchen was a little slow, but we weren’t in a rush, so it didn’t affect our evening. Overall, it was a good experience, and we’ll definitely be back.
We stumbled across Deadwood Smokehouse in Mold by pure chance our original plan was Just Steak, which was closed on Friday at 2.00 and honestly, we won’t be going back there now! It turned out to be a very happy accident. The steaks and platters were absolutely delicious, with portions that were more than generous. The service was excellent, the place had a really cozy vibe, and the prices were great for the quality and quantity of food. Honestly, I only wish we lived closer so we could order takeaway from them. Would definitely go back whenever I’m in the area. Totally recommend!
We went to Mold yesterday and decided to eat at Deadwood Smokehouse. We all ordered Burger and Fries. Fair pricing for the quality of food. We all said that it was the best burger we have ever had! The waiter couldn't do enough for us and was very polite. The place is small and cozy but we liked that. We will definitely be returning.
The food was beautiful - we had a platter for one would feed two people easy the deadwood monster burger and the Mac and cheese with burnt ends - very happy with everything
