It was our first time visiting Deadwood Smokehouse in Mold. We chose it because it was close to the Reindeer Lodge, and we were in the mood for a proper meat-focused evening. The restaurant itself is quite small, with around 20 covers, giving it a cosy and relaxed atmosphere.nnThe team were very kind, friendly, and welcoming, and we also found the place to be kid-friendly, which made the experience even nicer. The food was very good overall—exactly what you’d expect from a smokehouse menu. My wife’s brisket was a little on the dry side, but still flavourful. I had the tomahawk, which was really nice, although I was expecting it to be a bit thicker.nnThe kitchen was a little slow, but we weren’t in a rush, so it didn’t affect our evening. Overall, it was a good experience, and we’ll definitely be back.
Went Sunday just been for a belated Valentine's meal.nUnfortunately a couple items weren't available due to being busy the night before but the food was delicious!nI had the half smoked chicken with a side of onion rings and hubby had the chicken and ribs. Portions were a great size also.nStaff were friendly and chatty, quiet atmosphere but that suited us.nPlace was clean and toilets spotless.nLooking forward to coming back to have some brisket!
We stumbled across Deadwood Smokehouse in Mold by pure chance our original plan was Just Steak, which was closed on Friday at 2.00 and honestly, we won’t be going back there now! It turned out to be a very happy accident. The steaks and platters were absolutely delicious, with portions that were more than generous. The service was excellent, the place had a really cozy vibe, and the prices were great for the quality and quantity of food. Honestly, I only wish we lived closer so we could order takeaway from them. Would definitely go back whenever I’m in the area. Totally recommend!

Loved this place! A really great atmosphere, friendly service and the best steak that I have had in a really long time - cooked beautifully! Great independents like this need our support more than ever, and I would recommend this place to everyone!
