I fully recommend this pharmacy. The staff have gone above and beyond to help my Dad recently. They deliver my Dad’s medications promptly each week. They’ve been so helpful when certain medications have not been available and go above and beyond to ensure and new medication prescribed is dispensed quickly. We are very grateful to all the staff in this branch for all their help at this time.
I have always found this branch of Day Lewis excellent, the staff have always been helpful and friendly. The reason for only 3 stars is because of my latest experience, I went in to collect a prescription and saw a staff member leave. Apparently it was the pharmacist, I was then told that she had left to get her lunch and I would have to wait until she returned as nobody could give out prescription medication without her being present. If that's the case it should be advertised to stop people wasting their time. This is extremely bad customer service as no thought has been given to the customer. Everybody should be allowed a proper lunch break. But at least let the customers know by advertising the fact, and that nobody can collect prescriptions during certain times during the opening hours. Plus I wasn't pleased to be told by a member of staff, now you know not to turn up at this time. The pharmacist didn't even have the decency to answer me when i asked why she left when I was in the shop, and she hadnt wait until I had finished being served.
Do not trust this circus. They mess our prescription deliveries up on a weekly basis and simply dgaf whether we get our meds or not. Pathetic
Upon entering the car park you can clearly see a sign which says the parking outside is for Day Lewis customers only. I parked my car outside Day Lewis in a marked bay for 15 minutes while collecting my prescription and I got stung with a £100 parking fine. I called Day Lewis to see if this was some sort of mistake and a very rude and disinterested gentleman told me over the phone that they don’t own the car park and only part of it is reserved for Day Lewis customers. When I suggested putting up proper signage to make that clear to people I was told that it wasn’t their problem. Not a particularly pleasant or helpful company. Any business that knowingly allows their customers to get fined isn’t one that I will visit again.
I am very disappointed to find the pharmacy closed on a Saturday morning. not only that but I got a parking fine to the tune of £100 for parking there while I went to the door to discover they were closed!!! I appealed the fact that I had only been there for a few minutes but they still enforced the parking fine. totally unreasonable and zero customer service or due consideration. I would have preferred to have supported a local business rather than going to a national corporate pharmacy, but not any more.
Always give a polite and efficient service. May need to give owing slips for some medicines, but this is due to a shortage of supplies rather than the fault of Day Lewis, if I understand the situation correctly.
