I've got a PRS guitar not supplied by A to G that's battle scarred and needed setting up. I took it to Alan who has restrung and set it up including dressing some worn frets. It now plays beautifully! The work was at a very reasonable price too. Thanks very much indeed!

My 12 year old daughter wanted to buy her soon to be 18 year old brother a guitar pedal and requested we go as it’s her brother’s favorite place. So we went yesterday, my daughter was given so much time by two extremely kind and knowledgeable people, she is still deciding what to buy but this is a must go to place for anyone if not for the great selection of guitar items for the wonderful people who own and run this lovely place. There was no pressure just kindness. 100 % recommend this place and thank you for yesterday.

Brilliantly stocked independently run music shop. When you need a mic stand in a hurry these are your guys. Also they do servicing and set up. Very friendly and helpful. THEY ARE UPSTAIRS IN THE MARKET BUILDING.

Proper music shop with friendly, informed staff and a really great selection of unique guitars and amps. Really happy with the service. Highly recommend if you're looking for an alternative to the larger McMusic chains.

I don't normally write reviews but I had to say something about A to G music.  Alan has been setting up guitars for me for the past 12 months, and I've been nothing but impressed by his skills and his customer service.  I'm a bit of a guitar addict, and whenever I get a new guitar the set up is never quite right.  That is where Alan comes in, and I wouldn't trust anyone else now.  He sorts out the action and playability for me and makes my guitars a joy to play, plus he cleans them up using professional guitar cleaning materials.  On top of all that, his prices are extremely reasonable, reflecting his low overheads.  Alan has also repaired a few guitars for me, such as replacing a tone knob or swapping out a damaged bridge, but I know he carries out much more complex repairs.  He turns jobs around in a day or two and has never failed to do a great job.  Best kept secret in Warrington!  Keep up the great work Alan, and thanks!

Al, the owner has always been a friendly, affable type and this bleeds into the  ethos of the shop.. Knowledgeable about all stringed instruments this place outlived the might of Dawsons remember.... I pop in for a chat as I buy strings, plecs and other axenalia...err  They also have some wonderful Telecaster builds in unique woods etc..If you do stringed instruments and amplification then you MUST call in there!....Ps.  No, I don't work there or take any kinda backhander/bung at all, do I Al, m8.. ?

Great place walked in for some pic's found a gem of a guitar and case both looked as new but second hand at an amazing price. Guy really knows his stuff and really friendly will be my local from now on
