5* Recommended firewood supplier for Ludlow and Tenbury Wells area. David supplied me with some excellent hardwood firewood.  Knowing that it is clean from harmful pesticides or preservatives, I even used some of it to smoke a pulled pork with perfect results!  It's great to know that there are still some genuinely local, high-quality, honest and friendly suppliers like David out there who keep the environment in mind.  Thanks!!!

Friendly and efficient, access is awkward where I live and the driver always manages to drop the wood as near as he can which saves us a longer trek with the wheelbarrow! The wood is good quality and lasts well.

I have used David Ward Firewood now a number of times and I don't think I'd go anywhere else. What is most important to me is that his wood is locally sourced, cut and kiln dried on site where you can see the process from beginning to end... better than wood sourced from abroad where you have no idea what damage has been done to a forest in the name of profit, not to mention all the pollution getting the wood here! David is a lovely guy and nothing is too much trouble.

Fantastic company to deal with. Do exactly as they promise.  Delivery always on time.  Kiln dried, locally sourced, sustainable fire wood. Excellent value for money. Would high recommend.

I ordered a mixture of logs from David a couple of months ago. The delivery was on time and the logs are probably the best quality I have ever bought - very clean, properly seasoned and good value. Softwood, barn stored and kiln dried all burn very well. thank you David!

We have been buying seasoned and kiln dried firewood from David for the last six years and have always been very happy with the quality of wood supplied, and with the service.  The bags are larger than normal builders bags, well filled and contain virtually no waste - mainly good sized logs, with a small percentage of smaller section wood and perhaps a half bucket of odds and ends for kindling. We have used other suppliers who are cheaper, but found a lot of rubbish in the bottom of the bag and a high proportion of very small section branch trimmings. The wood burns well in our Clearview stove, as our sweep can confirm. No hesitation in recommending him.
