Love this shop! My family and I try to support David’s books and music as much as possible. They have a great cafe with yummy cakes and little animal toys for the little ones to play with. The books section is great with a really interesting children’s book section. The music section is my favourite. I am a bit of a collector and spent my early years working in record shops. There is a good selection of vinyl and cds, both new and second hand. My only criticism would be that it would be good to have a weekly new release vinyl section, like they have on the new release cd shelf as the front of the store. Apart from that it’s great. Sure it’s cheaper to buy online but when all the record shops are gone it’s going to be a sad day. Long may David’s Books and Music last.

The best book and music show in the greater Letchworth area! Now with added coffee and cake. It doesn't get better than this....

Fantastic place to buy new and used records. Cannot fault the quality and price of books and records for sale. My experience was dampened somewhat by the redhead sales assistant who followed me everywhere around the shop. When I finally went to the till to pay she was surly, slow and not very welcoming at all. I don't think her skills lie in customer facing roles, either that or she just has something against brown people with beards. In retrospect; great store, crappy staff.

This is our favourite coffee shop in Letchworth. Lovely coffee and good selection of cakes.would highly recommend this a visit.

Fantastic independent book and record shop plus cafe with amazing cakes. the 20% off kids books every Saturday morning is a brilliant idea that my son often takes advantage of and the Bargain Book and Secondhand Book areas are really good. Letchworth is lucky to still have a shop like this !
