Good: Nice facilities Plenty of equipment Staff friendly Bad: Car park charges (not DL's fault) are the biggest pain. Also options are one or three hours plus, no 2 option which if you want a gym and a swim would be more suitable. Since the refurbishment it has transformed the workout areas for the better. As always staff are brilliant.

Club is friendly with helpful friendly welcoming staff. It is let down by the fact the building is old and constantly in need of repair Some days you'll here from other members the pool is very cold. The Jacuzzi is closed . The toilets in the gym dont work. Its a shame that the funding needed to fix it never seems to be given and the belt and braces aproach dose not work. Sad a great team of staff let down by ageing facility desperately under funded.

I chose David Lloyd as I wanted a quality gym that would be more geared to professional adults, and I knew I'd be paying extra for this, on top of the training. Thanks to the PT services, I have lost a total of 27lbs since 18th May; on top of this, my personal trainer and the staff as a whole are very friendly and pleasant. I cannot fault their manners or expertise at all. I'm almost at a point now where I feel confident enough to carry out the programs by myself having just done so; but it's still nice to have the accountability. The only drawback for me is that my weekday recovery routine in the spa area is sadly starting to get spoilt by entitled parents who bring their young children in running amok; and weedy 14-year-old 'lads' who by all rights are supposed to be at school. I suppose this is outside of the gym's control; but nevertheless, I chose the costlier gym partly to avoid such people.

This gym's features are good, the staff is nice and available. The swimming poolis quite good. The price is the same as any other gym.

Never trust a gym which doesn't openly publicise its costs, charges leaving fees and try to up sell any product they can get their hands on. The product they offer is self explanatory so why is there approach not the same?
